Renault Triber AMT

During the global unveil of the Triber, Renault showed us the AMT variant of the car. But the MPV was launched with only a manual gearbox. The AMT Triber on display at the Auto Expo:


The only differentiator on the outside is the Easy-R badging:


The car is finished in the electric blue shade:

Renault has another Triber AMT on display with weird colour combination:


The brown car gets silver A-pillar and roof with purple roof rails and purple inserts on the silver skid plate:

At the rear, the spoiler is painted in silver. Other than the TRIBER lettering, there are no badges on this particular car:

On the inside, it gets purple inserts on the dashboard and centre console, along with blue inserts on the doorpads and blue accents on the seats:

Renault K-ZE

The K-ZE is an electric version of the Kwid hatchback. The car's electric motor produces 44 BHP and 124 Nm and the claimed NEDC range of the car is 271 km. It comes with a 26.8 kWh lithium-ion battery:


The car is currently on sale in markets like China:


Unlike the regular Kwid, the electric version comes with U-shaped chrome inserts:


It also gets white decals below the headlights:


The car rides on 14-inch dual-tone alloy wheels:


Roof rails add to the SUV look of the hatchback:


The rear is largely similar to the regular Kwid. It gets 'Electric' stickering on the lower part of the rear door:


The rear gets 'K-ZE' badging, white decal near the reflectors, a chrome bar on the tailgate and a silver skid plate:

Renault Twizy

Renault showcased the Twizy electric car. Read our short drive of the Twizzy here:


Some information on the car:


The Twizy is powered by an electric motor producing 17 BHP and 57 Nm. It has a top speed of 80 km/h:


The car rides on funky looking 13-inch alloys shod with 145/80 rubber. The car gets rear disk brakes:


It gets a single tail light cluster and Twizy lettering:


Minimalistic interior. The R-N-D buttons are placed on the dashboard:


The Twizy can accommodate only one passenger. Notice the tinted glass on the doors:

Renault Zoe EV

The electric vehicle display at the Renault pavilion also includes the Zoe EV:


The car measure just over 4 metres in length. It rides on dual-tone alloy wheels:


At the rear, the hatchback gets LED tail lights and ZE badging along with ZOE lettering:


The Zoe is powered by an electric motor producing 132 BHP and 245 Nm. The WLTP range is said to be 395 km. It comes equipped with a 52 kWh battery pack. Renault is offering 8 years warranty on the battery:

Renault SYMBIOZ

The SYMBIOZ is an autonomous electric concept car intended to showcase the future of mobility:


The front gets U-shaped LED lights and a sealed off grille:


Aero design wheels look nice and the centre cap is finished in blue:

The rear gets U-shaped tail lights and SYMBIOZ lettering. Notice the Renault logo on the pillar and the glass fin on the rear windscreen:


The car gets a glass roof. The front seats swivel 180° so the front passengers can sit facing the rear passengers:

Renault R.S. 2027 Vision

Renault is also showcasing the R.S 2027 Vision racecar, which comes with a transparent cockpit. The driver's helmet is also transparent:


LED lighting is embedded in the wheels to display information. The car is 3D-printed in a light material:

A cross-sectional view of a 1.3-litre TCe 130 petrol engine on display. It is a turbocharged four-cylinder engine:


The engine is said to be BS6-compliant and could be used to power SUVs like the Duster in India. The power figures for this engine is said to be around 150 BHP and 250 Nm:


Along with the TCe 130, Renault also has a cross-sectional view of the 1.0-litre TCe 100, which is a 3-cylinder turbocharged engine:


In international markets, the engine powers cars like the Duster and it produces 99 BHP and 160 Nm:

Why the ground clearance on both the electric cars at 120 mm? Did I miss something? With that, one will probably have to buy a crane to accompany these cars on Indian roads at all times.

Any update on turbo charged Triber? My father was really impressed by the Triber, but disapointed by its engine. He is eagerly waiting for turbo charged Triber so that he can replace his decade old Tata Indica with 1.35 lakhs on odo.

The BS-6 Duster will be powered by a 1.3litre turbocharged, direct injection gasoline engine mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. It will also have a CVT option. The engine's power and torque output is in the range of 156ps/250Nm which is pretty competitive.
All i want to know, will an All Wheel Drive variant be also available? Or has that taken a trip to the mortuary as well?
