New Mitsubishi Lancer. When will it come to India?

If im not mistaken that IS the lancer. Check the wheel arches, they are much more muscular on the EVO.

Thats the EVO... see the front intake on the bonnet... thats the vent for the intercooler. BBS wheels are also an option on the EVO X MR. That rear wing also is a dead giveaway. The Lancer GTS has a way smaller spoiler. It doesn't have projector HIDs either.

Guys thats the EVO 10 that was on display at the Auto Expo in Delhi and not the Lancer. The picture is also taken at the Expo. so i guess there is no confusion now. see the number plate in the first picture, you shall get your answer.

I can't understand what's the confusion when there's a board next to it clearly visible saying its the EVO X.

Other than that the huge brembo rotors should be a dead giveaway.

Thats an EVO guys NOT the new lancer, for more info about the new lancer check the ACI , sept. issue last page or the complete report given in the April issue of the same.

Guys that is the new lancer , it s being advertised quite aggresively in the Philippines at the moment

Does anyone have any clue to when HM is launching the new lancer.
I am dying to know.
All three cars will be sold side by side so dont know what its going to be called.
If anyone has any idea about the launch please let me know.

Check out the last page of the Sept. issue.
It has been spied at the CHENNAI airport , it shout hopefully be here in early 2009 . ( fingers crossed )

From what I had heard HM was supposed to launch 2 cars this year.
Why cant they launch the damn lancer this year.

A month or so back when me and bottle went for a Cedia TD, the sales guy told us the new Lancer is expected sometime around the beginning of next year and would fall right into the Civic/Corolla league. At the same time, the older Lancer (sixth gen model) would finally be laid to rest and the Lancer/Cedia will occupy its spot. Sounds good if it goes as planned.

Thats not bad, since ~150 ponies detuned would still be an approx. of 140 I guess.

Was talking to the Southern Motors guy today. He told me HM is launching Outlander soon and also something is up with the Cedia. They have been told to stop taking orders for Cedia as it is not being manufactured. He said there are some cosmetic changes coming up but the engine would remain the same.
