Here is the first drive review of Endy with the new 2 litre BS6 compliant engine.
There is a new 10 speed transmission as well with manual override option as well. The car is softer sprung, has better lower end torque but loses a bit on performance and refinement.
Headlights are now projector LED.

I don't know why all of you are crying about 4 cylinders. These days 4 bangers are coming with very impressive power, torque and fuel economy numbers. And they are light weight to top it off. Maybe the new engine is a good fit for our conditions and requirements. It's not as if the average speed here is anything beyond 40 kmph.

Ford India launches BS-VI compliant Endeavour SUV, priced from ₹ 29.55 lakh, if you book the new 2020 Ford Endeavour before 30th April, you will get benefits in pricing as the company has announced to increase prices by up to Rs 70,000 starting 1st May, 2020.

New Ford Endeavour gets an improved BS-VI diesel engine that offers 14% better fuel efficiency, claims the automaker.

new Endeavour utilizes Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), an advanced emission control tech. SCR works by injecting automotive-grade urea in the exhaust stream of the engine, which then breaks down nitrogen oxides into nitrogen, water and some amount of CO2.

The power and torque figures are 170 hp and 420 Nm respectively. The company claims that the new EcoBlue engine with 4X2 driveline will deliver a fuel efficiency of 13.90 Kmpl while the 4X4 variant will return 12.4 Kmpl. Not only this, the EcoBlue engine also offers a 20 percent improvement in low-end torque compared to the outgoing 2.2L TDCi engine

The new 2.0L BS6 engine with 10 speed auto is 1.5 lakhs lower than the 3.2L 6 speed Auto BS4?

Is that true? Wow. This is a very pleasant surprise.

After Toyota announced there would be no price hike on Fortuner, Ford has gone one step up with 1.5L price reduction.

2.0l Diesel Titanium+ 4*2 AT - Rs 31,55,000

The website claims 20% better illumination on the LED lights, better low end torque and better mileage.
Noticed only 3 colors are available, isn't that too few?

Would request the enthusiasts to provide insights on the detail around these aspects as well as the implications of the 10 speed auto. Is the 10-speed auto already in use elsewhere ?

So, the MT is out even in 2WD, let alone in 4WD! Quite sad, that. Also, not sure why we continue to see this weird trend of offering 4WD in higher/highest trims only Never could fathom that one. In fact, the more expensive a car is, less likely it is to see mud and slush. Bah!!

This was the price-list in Nov 2019




They increased the price around 5th Dec 2019 by around 1.5 Lac.

Now with the new launch they have decreased the price to about same level back to Nov 2019 levels

Lower End 4WD demand was very low and the price Gap was not much. That is why customers were simply going for the Higher End Model. It is a wise decision, else dealers end up with slow-moving stock.

The new car is suppose to be quite the church mouse. Sound insulation and production both are supposed to be top notch according to the GM Sales but that 3.2L just cant be replaced by this. Maybe 4 powerful electric motors at a later stage but no not this 2.0 :( .

The prices are limited to few units only and is INTRODUCTORY. Post May, 70-80K price hike is on cards. Even with price hike 50K cheaper than outgoing model is commendable.
