Please consider to and fro fuel, Toll cost and driving fatigue as well. Unless there are any particular needs which are fulfilled by your car, hiring a taxi is a better option. You can get a one way drop from Pune to Mumbai around INR 2500 in a Dzire segment taxi.

Yes, I have considered these factors and plan to hire a 7 seater cab to accommodate 4 of us + our luggage. I was just exploring this other option.

Re: Long stay car parking @ Indian airports?

Does anyone experience in long stay parking in Chennai Aero Hub Malls near to Chennai Airport? I may have to consider this option for 6 night / 7 days. Wanted to understand the cost, safety / security of the car parked for longer duration. Thanks in advance.

In Jan I had parked my car for 4 days and it was very convenient. Though I don't remember the exact charges, I guess it Rs. 500 per day. As it is a closed multi level parking, safety and security is not a concern.

Re: Long stay car parking @ Indian airports?

Greetings, I'm thinking about availing long duration parking facility at Chennai Airport for 3 days. Since the thread hasn't been update since April, has anybody used it recently? Is it safe and how much is the cost? Please let me know.

Re: Long stay car parking @ Indian airports?

I searched the Pune Aeromall site, but could not locate the process for overnight car parking, though they have a charge sheet. I would be boarding a flight on 16 and returning around 22.

1. Can I park my car safely at Aeromall Pune?
2. Is there any process like slot booking etc?
3. Charges seem to be pretty reasonable ₹315 for first 24 hours and ₹210 onwards for each 24 hours. Any hidden or unexpected charges?

Thank you in advance for a prompt support.

1- Yes, it's quite safe. Have kept it for a week few times and my only complaint was that the car was dusty 😀
2- No. It's like any other car parking.show up and take a ticket. Show it while going out.
3- Nope.

Hope it helps.

Hi,
Parking in Kochi airport for 11 days is expensive. They charge 350 per day. Are there any alternate options for parking near Kochi airport? Please help

Regards,
Ramesh

It's not that expensive, works out to about 4k in total, you'll have to coordinate a taxi to and from the remote parking spot, that negates any savings of lower fees. The car will be safer at the airport in my view.

Re: Long stay car parking @ Indian airports?

I used to park my two wheeler at Madgao railway station for around ten days to a fortnight when I travel and they charge INR 40 per day.

I calculated and found that taking a taxi to the railway station and back is more economical.

So, now I just take a taxi to and fro from the railway statiion and that's convenient and economically more beneficial

Re: Long stay car parking @ Indian airports?

So had to travel to Mumbai from Bangalore t1 on a short notice so took my bike and thanked the rain gods for not pouring down, how ever on reaching Yelahanka the skies opened up and in a few minutes was completely drenched, in this i lost the parking ticket in the airport.
Now what's the fine going to be?
Where do i report now that I don't have the parking ticket?
Would my flight ticket be considered for the time I parked the bike there?
Somebody please prepare me before i land in Bangalore tomorrow evening.

Duration Fare
0 to 1 hours : 40
Every additional 1 hour : 20
One day : 250
Every additional day : 150
Loss of ticket : 250
This is quite funny though.
If you park for 3-4 days and claim ticket is lost, do they just charge 250?

In any case, I hope you will have the vehicle RC and I hope it has the bike registered on your name. Should be fine and don't worry too much about it.

Interesting question, I had the same doubt myself about the car parking where the lost ticket charges are around 600 Rupees. I did ask about it to the attendant once. Apparently, they keep tab of all cars that are parked overnight in an adhoc fashion. While it's not fool proof method, it seems they do have a fair idea about cars that are parked for longer than a day. So any claim about lost ticket leads into some level of verification, it seems.

I spoke with a female booth attendant at the P4 entrance, who was on duty, after disembarking today. She told me it would be 250 in fines plus parking charges.

When I asked her if they could not check the CCTV camera?, she just gave me a two-hour-old two-wheeler parking ticket from her pocket and refused any money I gave her.

Such a kind gesture. I ended up paying only 80 rupees in place of the 600-odd that was due.

Need to pay this forward, did not expect such a turn of events today.
