For me, it looks a lot like the new Ertiga. Actually, Ertiga might have taken inspiration from this, as Eclipse was launched much earlier.
Wake me up when the Lancer eventually lands. :D
Does Mitsubishi have a manufacturing plant anymore? Or is it just a ckd assembly line?
The pricing for these might be higher than locally manufactured rivals. Ideally this competes with the BRV in Indonesia

Is this why, Mitsubishi met Amit Shah asking for extension of BS6 deadline?
It could be possible they’ve an engine that’s compliant with BS4 alone and hence the request was putforth with government?
Mitsubishi Xpander MPV spotted testing in India - Posts moved to a new thread.
Styling looks aggressive. There have been several reports recently of Mitsubishi's plans.
I don't see them in Auto Expo list this year, wish they had show cased it.
The rear looks like the Ertiga and top half of the front reminds me of the ANHC(Look closely). Looks more MPVish than SUV.
If they price it similar to Ertiga, then I don't see a good reason to buy this over Ertiga unless it is overloaded with features (similar to what KIA did in the SUV segment). In my opinion, unless they launch this MPV in the tight price range between Ertiga and Triber, there is no future for this MPV in India.
True to it's name, it looks "expanded". The bumpers seemed to have been "expanded" in a xerox machine and fitted back.
Coming to the car itself, there is not much hope for it to succeed here.
Mitsubishi is on it's last legs in India, most of the dealerships have shut shop.
Sorry for going off topic guys but the face of this MPV reminds me of this creature lol:
Fun fact, the Mitsubishi Xpander is the Vietnam's best-selling car! It is also usually holds the 2nd or 3rd spot in the Indonesian market.
I rode loads of times in the Xpander during my three-week long vacation in Vietnam. When you order a 7 seater/large car over there, it's usually between a Xpander, Innova or a Fortuner. I was under the impression the Xpander is an Innova alternative. I liked the placement of the screen on the dash.

If Tesla made a premium road-cleaning machine it would look like this. Seriously, Japanese car designers are either getting very young as a workforce or watching too much anime or reading too much manga or a combination of them all!
Mitsubushi Xpander spotted near manesar toll.
