Hyundai: Now book your service appointment on WhatsApp

Hyundai: Now book your service appointment on WhatsApp-hyundaiservicewhatsapp.jpg
Customers can receive Whatsapp notifications, book a service appointment, receive invoices, share feedback and raise queries through the instant messaging app.
Quote:
In a bid to make its aftersales services more convenient, the Korean brand has announced that Hyundai Service – the brand’s portal to various aftersales services – will now be available for contact on Whatsapp.

Customers can receive Whatsapp notifications by giving a missed call on +918367796869, and will be able to book service appointments, receive invoices, share feedback and raise queries via the smartphone messaging application.

Hyundai India has also organized the Mega Experience Hyundai Camp today, at 575 locations across the country. As its name implies, the camp is meant to provide Hyundai car buyers an opportunity to experience the brand for all their service-related needs, in case they’re planning to buy a new Hyundai, evaluate their existing car and test drive the brand’s range. Attendees will also be able to avail free vehicle check-ups and personalized assistance.

Despite the industry-wide slowdown, Hyundai India has been doing well and has launched three all-new models this year – the Venue compact SUV, the Kona Electric and the Grand i10 Nios hatchback – along with a facelift for the Elantra executive sedan.

re: Hyundai: Now book your service appointment on WhatsApp

It was a common affair by Hyundai dealership to increase the bill with additional items like injector cleaning, throttle body cleaning and fuel additives etc.

These would be written with pen on job card which would have periodic maintenance covered that includes Engine oil change, coolant change and brake oil change if it meets the KM requirement.
I agree, SAs write things on job cards while inspection with owners but these additional items are written immediately after job card is generated and before car is inspected.

In simpler words, Hyundai, kudos in making service easier through app and thank you.
However, it will be nice if you include service estimator with break up cost. You may write additional services and jobs will be charged in bold and we will agree but pls make sure service cost shown at the time of sale and at the time of service are same and justifiable.
