I have had a good experience with Opel Corsa 1.4GLS, except for the service only during the last years. It was GM's mismanagement of brand Opel in India that led to its demise, is what I felt.

Now that the PSA has taken over Opel brand and they are anyway planning to introduce other brands, I would like to see Opel or even Vauxhaul brand back with

1. Crossland X - Dimensionally and Pricewise seems to fit Seltos and the range above.
2. Astra - the hatchback variant. Not sure if it will sell here even. But I always liked the big brother of Corsa.
3. Corsa - the compact hatchback. They could even introduce the electric version of the same.

and of then of course the car that I aspire to own

4. VW Golf mk7

Honda Civic hatchback - with its 1.5L turbo and 174HP power (180 in the sports versions). A proper hot hatch
Mazdas - Mazda 3, Mazda 6 to name a few. My personal favorite. Although it would be better to bring their SUVs here
Honda HR - V and Toyota CH-R - considering the SUV craze in India
While we are still on SUVs, Subaru.
Toyota Tacoma and Ford F-150 - we have very few options in this area
Localized muscle cars, Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ, Mustang (the base model with a V6 used to cost about 30K USD + taxes, V8s are about 40K USD + taxes. The V8 here costs a whopping 75L INR
Finally, onto EVs. Tesla with a solar roof pre-installed

The beautiful doors!

The EV that can actually be practical enough and at the same time extravagant enough to make Fossil Fuel driven vehicles, actually Fossils! (I don't hold anything against combustion engine or EVs, but looking at the future, EVs just fit themselves much better.)

Anyway, from the Ludicrous mode, a 0-100 time of under 3 seconds

, the sheer house pulling amount of torque available at the base of the rev band, the practical charging options, the minimalist and futuristic interiors and all the party tricks of the car makes it a real heart's desire!

Come on Tesla & Indian Govt.!

I'd love the Fiat Tipo to be available in India in both manual and auto diesel variants. Will be a worthy successor to the Linea. The Fiat Tipo is one handsome sedan. Want to see the Jetta back as well. No other car filled the gap left by the Jetta after it's production stopped.

Citroen Ami, the perfect city car. I would love to have this beside my Hexa for city travel. High time we get similar cheap to purchase an electric vehicle with a focus on urban mobility only. I will be fine with a range of 100kms and a top speed of 80 if the cost is 4-5lac.

Any hot hatch at a reasonable price. There are various in the UK market that can be manufactured/sold here like the Fiesta/Focus,Civic Type-R, Polo/Golf, Clio, 208 etc.

What India is missing is a mid range sports car and sport hatches. The high end cars coming here are pointless cause even if they do, normal folks cant afford them.

This is what should come to India:

1. Toyota GT86. Should be around the Camry price then perfect option.
2. VW Golf. We don't have a premium hatchback at all.
3. Toyota RAV4. A softroader from Toyota is seriously missing.
4. Suzuki Jimny. Enough said.
