I too had placed order on 19th for 7D mats. Yet to be shipped.
I will be taking car delivery most likely by Oct 1st week. Hopefully it comes by then.

I am fortunate to do a lot of highway drives (lucky me!). Also the traffic down south is very sparse on 4-lane-highways, so cruise-control can be used most of the time.
Man! Did you maintain fuel logs for 10,000 KMs?!! That would be sick!!! Congratulations on the awesome efficiency.
I have driven for 3700 odd KMs so far with mixed highway and Pune/Mumbai traffic, the FE shows 14.9 for me with my Petrol MT. The best I got is ~22 for a stretch of 400 KMs while I was driving from Nagpur to Pune. I too use cruise control whenever I can.

Do you mind sharing the variant you have booked and how long is the waiting period?

Would you please comment on the waiting period you have for ZX MT?

Other question - Do you get Engine Guard /Splash Guard in 5th Gen? I have been informed during test drive it's not provided in 5th Gen. As a accessory it's available. Is this true?

I booked on 5th Sept, and delivery is planned for 27th. So about 3 weeks.

My runs are a mostly on highways, sometimes towards Surat from Mumbai and once a month trip to Pune. My Petrol MT shows 17.8 kmpl on the mid. The best I have seen so far is 18.2 on the smooth bangalore highway. Mine is approx 4 months old now with 5300+ Kms on the ODO.

Mine is petrol cvt, in city it gives 8-9 kmpl average (odometer reading) and on highway 21-22 kmpl if i use cruise control at 80-85 km/h. Best average i got was 25.9 with CC set at 79 kmpl with ac off with very careful driving(odometer was reset on reaching highway).

You did not mention your model, SV has mic on the head unit itself and other top models have a different (better) set up on the roof. If your model is SV, then yes the mic location is pathetic. The mic is placed right in the way of ac ducts.

I had booked by 15th Sept. for VX CVT. I confirmed the golden brown color only by 17th. Luckily there was a dispatch on the day i booked for golden brown and hence quicker delivery. If my color had been anything other than brown and grey, it would have taken more time.

I will be doing PDI tomorrow and have asked for delivery by Oct 5th. So yes 3 weeks seems to be the norm.

I did not see any engine guard as an add-on. Will enquire.

Re: The 5th-gen Honda City in India. EDIT: Review on page 62

Took the delivery of my ZX MT White model today. This car looks pretty awesome and drives well. Still getting used to driving a sedan though.

Time to look for a keychain and other minor knick knacks.

Mine is ZX CVT 2018. Pic attached.
There is a strange whistling sound as well while using Bluetooth calls.

Re: The 5th-gen Honda City in India. EDIT: Review on page 62

Hi Guys! I have a quite a funny situation at hand. While on my way to work this morning, instead of taking my usual coffee, I decided to make coffee tonic and take that instead.

Approximately 2km later, I picked up my flask and opened the sipper lid. It exploded, like a bomb!

Coming to my question, finally. The front seats are practically drenched in coffee and tonic. What's the least painful way to getting them cleaned? I want to spend as little time and mental bandwidth as possible on this.

FYI, I have V CVT, so the seats are fabric.

My creaking sound is nowhere near to what you have recorded, your issue seems to be much more serious. You should pressure your ASC to fix it. It does not matter if it is a common issue in our model. This lackadaisical attitude irks me to the core and instances like these leave a negative impression on an otherwise reputed company's customer service. Our duty is to convey our problems to the ASC and their job is to fix it, plain and simple.

Do keep us updated on the issue, drive safe !
Update on squeaking sound
Finally got time to visit ASC today, had very swift response from GREEN HONDA warangal. I showed them video and problem was diagnosed within minutes. Sound was coming from plastic part near wipers, the plastic cover was rubbing against windshield. They removed it and applied 3M double tape and squeaking sound has vanished completely. Attached few pics, not able to upload video

your post came at an opportune time, i am also facing same squeaking sound from the front of my dashboard and i think this could be the reason, I am going to visit the ASC next week and see if they can do something about it.

Had to end up getting this cancelled since they haven't dispatched it for the last 2 weeks now. And even till date I was being given standard replies instead of a concrete timeline.

What other good 7D mat options are there online?
