Rumour: Renault likely to launch Vitara Brezza / Venue rival in India

After the Triber, Renault is planning a small SUV based on the modified version of the CMF-A platform the underpins the Renault Kwid in the Indian market. The new modified platform, known as the CMF-A+ platform, will also underpin an all-new sub-4m compact SUV, which will be launched after the Triber in the Indian market. It will be an all-new car, which will look very different from the MPV Triber and the hatchback Kwid. The sub-4m SUV will be Renault first such product in the market, and it will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon. In fact, the popularity of this segment is growing at a rapid pace, and recently, manufacturers like Hyundai and Mahindra launched their products in the market.

This news has been out since really long. ACI broke it if I am not wrong. Model code is HBA.

Gaadiwaadi.com just seems to be lifting random computer generated images from Instagram and doing stories around them.

The rear design is so close to WR-V and the front is absolutely the same as Kwid!
I honestly hope it is not the same as rendered.

Renault's new SUV will have 1.0 turbo engine.

Planned for 2024, manufacturer uses European Stepway to test future replacement of Sandero.

Despite the camouflage, sources linked to Renault have already told us that this will not be the car to be presented, but a new SUV, unheard of, which has even been seen in camouflage tests abroad.
It is a product for emerging markets such as Brazil and India - Russia was on this list until the sale of its factory to the local government.

Its dimensions are very close to the future SUV, made on the CMF-B platform, and that is keeping an eye on the Fiat Pulse and the future VW, which everything indicates will be called Gol. The design will be proper, but elements will be divided with models like Stepway and Duster itself, for example. It is already a test of suspension components and base construction.
The launch of the new SUV is expected to be only in 2023, if not taken to 2024 for issues such as components and other development delays.

Wait, wasn't Kiger supposed to be the Brezza rival? Maybe it didn't do enough numbers for Renault and they want to give it another shot. To be fair, the "bigger Kwid" look was what held back Kiger from success, hopefully they will incorporate design cues from Duster this time.
