I guess placed on the top of the rear windscreen like in the case of Range Rovers rather than at the bottom.

I really liked that arrangement when I recently saw it on Cadillac XT4. Neat!

Before, we could identify a car belonging to a company just by looking at their designs. Every company had their way of styling and signature looks. But these days cars cannot be differentiated by their looks and design. IMHO I don't think it is a positive trend. In this case I think the Tucson looks like a mixture of Mercedes EQC at the front and a Mazda from the sides.

Not Nice!

The new Tucson that has been unveiled has a host of radar based safety features similar to Volvo cars. Some of them are illustrated in the video below.

What is shocking is that INDIA launch was not even mentioned in the official launch video. The new TUCSON looks very promising and we must get it in INDIA soon. Personally i love the new look and the features. Hope we get the LWB version.

Wait a minute ! With the Hyundai logo up there on the rear glass, would no variant get a rear wiper now? :Shockked: It would be interesting to see how they have managed the rear wiper placement.

Its hidden neatly underneath the rear spoiler. Quite a clean design at the back.

Wowzies! This is an answer to anyone who thought Lexus's were radical.

New Tucson not for India and Brazil?

The 2021 Hyundai Tucson is going to almost every major country in the world, but not India. At the digital unveiling of the all-new Tucson this week, on a world map, Hyundai shaded the countries it plans to launch the Tucson (long wheelbase in green and short wheelbase in blue), leaving out India and Brazil.

Any place left for more creases on the body panels. Wonder why the Koreans go over the top in their design language.:Shockked:

Pictures of the tester my elder brother had spotted here in Dubai. The mule driver seems quite the morning person as I spotted him/her at 6AM today dutifully driving around as well.

First look video of the 2021 Tucson:

Looks very good especially the flowing center console and the massive screen. India will get it 2-3 years from now since the new Tucson was launched in August'20.

Can bring decent volumes if only Hyundai pays fraction of the attention it does to Creta. When I went to the showroom to check-out the new Tucson in August, the sales executives themselves were complaining on the step-motherly treatment Tucson gets from Hyundai in India.

Beats logic :Frustrati

I am glad that they decided to align the Tucson more towards the i20/Verna face rather than Creta/Palisade face. May be they have now realized that their SUV designs are too quirky. Gives me hope that they may change the other SUV designs during the facelifts by aligning them more to the Tucson design.
