The new Citroën C3 will arrive in Argentina with the 1.2 engine of the Peugeot 208, the same is expected to debut in India too.

In the Peugeot 208, this engine produces 82 horsepower at 5,750 revolutions per minute and 118 Nm of maximum torque at 2,750. It is combined with a five-speed manual gearbox. It belongs to the PureTech family and its technical name is EB2.

Brazil will get the 1.0 Firefly and 1.6 16V.

It hasn't even launched, mate. Let's give them a chance before making judgements based on spy shots. The C3 will surely have its own set of USPs which will set it apart from the competition. Either way, more cars = more choice = we win.

The C3 looks so tiny in the photos. Don't know if this fits with the Citroen brand. Seems a little cheap to me.

They do look similar. Spotted one in Thrissur-Angamaly route in Kerala day before.

I spotted the C3 on the Chennai - Tindivanam highway near Vandalur. I took this photo at a signal.

I think the car looked quite good in white. I don't know if they will bring the turbo petrol and the DCT combination to India, but if they do it'll be a pocket rocket like the Getz CRDi or the Palio GTX of old. I saw it next to the KUV100 and the Kwid and I thought this looked like a better looking car.

Does anyone know why manufacturers give these fake roof rails on all cars now? They are completely non functional, it's not like we can store our luggage on top like the old Ambassadors. Is it to increase height specs on paper or is it purely cosmetic. I think it is a waste of money. When manufacturers are constantly cutting specs to save cost, this should be on top of their list!

It's expected to go up against Punch and Ignis. Hence the proportions.

Hope they come up with radical introductory pricing like Magnite/Kiger. I think if Citroen launches this at mouth-watering prices, it'll stir things up in the market. Need more competitors in the market.

I think this company Citroen has made C3 to be spotted only car in India. Is the car still under testing? This car easily beats Fiat Renegade to become the most spotted test car in India. By the time it hits the market petrol will be ₹150 per liter.

India-spec Citroen C3 interior leaked:

Higher variants of the C3 to get large infotainment screen
Expected to come with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine in India
Will rival Tata Punch, Nissan Magnire, Maruti Ignis among others

reveals a 10-inch touch-screen infotainment screen taking the centre stage, which will be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Quirky air-con vents and a dimpled effect on the dashboard panel is also visible. On closer inspection, one can also spot a slot for the mobile holder near the central air-con vents.

Also, the vehicle in picture may not be a top spec vehicle as there are a few equipment like rear power windows, power wing mirrors and climate control missing. However, the cabin appears practical with large door pockets, usable cup-holders and a nifty recess in front of the gear lever.

Saw the C3 today in JP nagar today afternoon, near the Oracle office (Kalyani Magnum). Doesnt really stand out except for the trademark logo and of course temporary freshness compared to the other vehicles on the road. Couldnt take any pics since I was riding and there was traffic .. it was coming in the opp direction.

Spotted this yesterday in OMR, Chennai. It is used by the company executive. Looks just like another small hatchback on the road, nothing special about the look or eye catching.

I saw a convoy of C3 s here in Trichy, TN. They were making their way from Chennai- Madurai road to Trichy Dindigul road. Either to Kodaikanal or Cumbum and Kerala. I was driving around in my Ecosport tdci to clear the DPF as I got the notification a couple of days ago that it was at the limit, so was doing around a 100 when one whizzed past me with just a driver and front passenger. It was doing serious speed, looked very agile and nimble.
