New Citroën C3 2023, details of new platform for Brazil:

- It will be the first car made in Brazil with stellantis CMP platform

- It will be manufactured in Porto Real (RJ) and should be presented in April next year, already as line 2023.

-will be the first car manufactured in Brazil with the group's CMP platform, which today already serves as the basis for the Peugeot 208,made in Argentina.

-it will pave the way for two more models derived from it that will be developed and produced in the region in the next 3 years

- model is expected to fall below the C4 Cactus in the company's national line

- will have an "excellent ground head, raised hood and a high position for the driver"

-In India, a 1.2 turbo tricylindrical propellant is expected.While in Brazil there are still more options

-The Indian C3 is 3.98 meters long and a wheelbase of 2.54 m.

Have spotted this car few times, looks to be similar in size to Swift/i10 NIOS. Glad they decided to call this a hatch rather that SUV.

Spotted few camouflaged cars in old madras road Bangalore. A closer look reveals that its Citroen C3.

If those are the wheels it comes with, it looks like a well-proportioned car. My main grip with the Tata Punch are those tiny wheels that makes it look like a shopping trolley.

Here is the new Citroën C3 roaming freely in Brazil:


Arriving in first quarter of 2022, the basic version will be equipped with 1.0 Firefly engine and will have 1.6 16V FlexStart engine in more expensive versions.

In fact, in the external look, the only difference from the new basic C3 1.0 Firefly to the top of the line are the steel wheels with hubcaps and the absence of auxiliary headlights

The prototype was footwear with 15-inch steel wheels equipped with Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance tires of measures 195/65 R15.

the propellant that equips the Fiat Argo has power of 72 hp at 6,000 rpm and torque of 10.4 kgfm at 3,250 rpm when fueled with gasoline and 77 hp at 6,250 rpm and torque 10.9 kgfm at 3,250 rpm with ethanol in the tank. The gearbox is the five-speed manual.

In addition to the Firefly 1.0 engine in access versions, the new Citroën C3 2023 will have the same updated 1.6 FlexStart engine that debuted in the Peugeot 208. The 1.6 16V Flex engine, 118 hp (ethanol)/115 hp (gasoline) of maximum power at 5,750 rpm and maximum torques of 15.49 kgfm (e) at 4,750 rpm and from 15.46 kgfm (g) to 4,000 rpm. Depending on the version, the propellant can be connected to the five-speed or automatic six-speed manual gearboxes.

Citroën C3 shows its interior:

Citroën C3 Crossover, the first link of the C-Cubed project that will cover a new range of affordable vehicles for India and Latin America, and whose commercial debut will take place in the first months of 2022.

although it is a crossover car, was designed taking elements of an SUV. In this regard, the brand states that the new C3 has "wide proportions, one of the best rear spaces, comfortable seats, practical places to store objects and a higher driving position".

Spotted the C3 on test in Bangalore yesterday. The front end looked like the Tata Punch with all the camouflage. Also it was cruising at about 100-110 kmph.

The car looks good in that blue shade, interiors look good too. The front and the bonnet looks stylish but the rear looks way too bland with no striking design elements, the lack of split tail lamps is not helping it's cause either.

If Citroen is able to open dealerships in all major Tier 2 cities, with aggressive pricing, this car could have garnered a saleof 2000-2500 per month. But alas, it is not going to happen because of a major flaw in design..

Indians love their "pull type" door handles and look at flap type door handles with disdain, particularly in the Rs 6+ lakh ex showroom territory. They were forgiving towards Renault Duster in 2012 because it was the first compact, monocoque SUV. But that too for just over 2 years till Creta was launched. All other cars in the Rs 6+ lakh price bracket with flap door handles have been sales duds.So, I wouldn't be surprised if this does not sell more than 600-700 copies per month.

The key hole on the door and the handles do look out-of-place design elements. To me, it resembles the Tata Punch at certain viewing angles, specially the blue dual tone colour scheme. Besides at launch, Price, Features and Capabilities will matter a lot specially with the fierce competition in the segment.
