It is set to be on launched on 27 th June 2022

The first looks aren't that great , I hope just like the XUV 700 it's looks grow on me , fingers crossed .

Also , Mahindra could have gone with some other Tagline instead of "Baap Hua hai" ( Translation - The father has been born ") . It just sounds Cringe to be honest rl:

Rear disc brakes - Welcome move!

From the first look, it does not look any longer than the current gen Scorpio. Reference image below for comparison.

Since Hyundai is hesitant about proper N cars, Mahindra took the onus on themselves and launched an N car.

Looks superb from front and the rear spoils half of that thrill.

BTW, why so much "water fall" on the car? Oh, we have to appreciate M&M for the extensive testing they are doing before launch - they are testing water leakage through sunroof even during photoshoot!

Looks good enough. The front is rather imposing while the rear will divide opinions.
Seems to be feature loaded too, LED lights, 360 degree camera and a sunroof
Overall it looks great, but the ultimate deciding factor will be the pricing.:Cheering:

Also, no pictures of the interiors yet?

IMHO looks like a competitor to Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass.
Maybe we have different definitions for D-segment

Another angle. Tiger drinking water???

Relief !

It doesn't look bad at all. I was hoping the Macho look of Scorpio will be lost, But to my eyes, It's a bit toned but still looks macho. The Green color look sweet:)
The Scorpio's tail inspired chrome treatment too looks good. Reserving my comments for the rear view though.

And what a teaser video, had a vibe of post apocalyptic Sci-Fi move vibe to it. Proper superhero intro like treatment :D

Thankfully the front end seems to have that butch look of the Scorpio, but I'm not sure about the rear though, atleast in the pictures. The proportions look good too, it definitely looks bigger and longer than the current gen.

Can't put a finger on it, but something in its looks makes it appear very.....normal, conventional, commonplace? I doubt whether it would make an unruly auto-walla give way at intersections :)

Anyway, considering M&M's penchant for weird designs, I guess we should be thankful for the relatively sober and middle of the road looks (at least in these photos). Of course, if the pricing strategy is anything like that of the XUV700, then the looks will be automatically enhanced. :D

I still believe this will be just named as the SCORPIO, maybe the old one renamed as SCORPIO Classic :coldsweat.
Remember the old scoop pics which sported the badge.

So, I was almost correct about the naming part. Glad to have the name retained for the new vehicle Scorpio-N. Old one will retail as Scorpio Classic. :)

Does no one else think that this looks disproportionate? Something just looks so off about it that one you notice it, it's yucky to watch it again.

The overall vehicle looks well proportioned. I believe it would be in the same length as the current gen Scorpio. The front looks good and gives a nice macho appearance. I feel like all Mahindra cars, the design will gradually grow on you once you start seeing more vehicles.

I think the "D Segment" marketing could be the features available in a D Segment at the the competitive price point of a C Segment vehicle.

I am looking forward to its pricing. It would definitely be a good upgrade on my 2nd gen Scorpio. My guess is the base variant available at approx 20L-22L onroad while the top end with all bells and whistles could be around 30L

Retaining the old Scorp with a "Classic Tag" is a nice move as it would continue to keep the cash registers ringing and also help MandM mitigate the supply chain woes to some extent.

Headlights give me VW vibes, but the rest of the car, sorry uhm, SUV, feels oh so chinese. I'm not a fan of the new logo either, liked the way the old one looked. Car logos always look good in ovals(Ford, Land Rover) no matter what might be inside the oval. But positioning it a segment above shows that Mahindra has really worked hard. I wonder how long these guys will take to deliver them, given the waiting periods on XUV and Thar.
