On my recent trop to Manali, these Scorpio test mules are making circuit from Mandi to Solang. I saw three Test Mules for the next gen scorpio and when I had parked my car to buy fruits on the way back, current gen scorpio with the front bumper or fascia covered was parked just behind my Thar. Before I could ask anything from the driver, he just fled the scene. Probably he guessed or saw me coming near him.
I was keen to check if they had added a 4x4 or something new in the interior. I have seen the next gen scorpio and can say that the interiors are good though not finished yet but if it comes with a rear locker and a proper 4x4, it will be replacing my Thar.
New Scorpio to be the next big launch for Mahindra after the XUV700.

New Scorpio found in dense evening traffic of Sinhagad Road Pune (at Hingane signal to be exact for local reference) 4 days back with MH15 temporary registration. Apologies for such photos since I captured in moving traffic ( I was standstill) and also for posting so late.
Cheers

Looks quite good from this angle to me. Proportions are good except that hood is sloping down a bit compared to the current model.
Still very hopeful for a stellar product from Mahindra.
The stance looks great in this image, unlike the previous disproportionate images. Hoping that other than the silver teeth that are present in all Mahindras, there is nothing else to make the design ungraceful. In camouflage, it looks great to me.

Aha! So now I understand where the chips from XUV 700's spare key, dynamic turn indicators, HHA, ADAS, Knee airbag, etc are headed to !! :D
This is turning out to be a really good-looking car. Mahindra is sticking to simpler, bold looking design and that's a huge plus.
Really like the way the car has evolved from the previous version. Like XUV5OO to XUV7OO the car is loosing the tall car stance to more practical people mover. Hope this fits well into the needs of customers for whom the new XUV7OO went way above the reach.

Used to seeing silver/satin coloured faux skid plates in
cross hatchbacks and crossovers, it feels weird seeing one in a real SUV. rl:
Is it just me, or is anyone eager to see how the design will look in a base variant. :D
Good looking car and looks toned down from the previous generations to suit wider audience

Scorpio is having faux plates since last generation IIRC. Their adventure pack option in SA market is quite a looker.
Looks great from the front. Hope Mahindra does not ruin the side profile because of their loyalty to quirkiness. Xuv700 also looks good from the front, but from the side, not so much.
