Last week, Ford introduced the Titanium Blu trim on the Figo facelift. A recent spy image suggests that the new top-spec variant could also be offered on the Aspire.



Like the hatchback, the Aspire is likely to get a blue exterior trim, black roof, black grille and ORVMs, 15-inch black alloy wheels and decals on the rear and on the sides. On the inside, the Titanium Blu variant is expected to get blue trim and is likely to be equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, electric ORVMs, engine start/stop button, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps. A perimeter alarm system and side and curtain airbags are also likely to be offered.

Engine options are expected to remain unchanged. These include a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol unit with 95 BHP and 120 Nm and 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel that makes 99 BHP and 215 Nm of torque. Both engines are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission, while a 6-speed automatic gearbox is available with the 1.5-litre petrol unit that makes 122 BHP and 150 Nm of peak torque.

Exactly my thoughts! Please don't commit the blunder of removing the SYNC 3 enabled infotainment system Ford!
Also please improve the interior ambiance. Enough of that dashboard, dated dials and fonts.

The Ford Aspire Blu has started arriving in showrooms. The car was spotted at a Ford dealership in Surat.



Like the Figo, the Aspire Blu is likely to be based on the Titanium trim. The car seen here is finished in silver and has blue inserts on the front bumper and blue and black decals on the sides and boot lid. Inside, the car has black upholstery with blue stitching and 'Blu' logos as well as blue door pad trim. It reportedly gets a leather wrapped steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system. The car is said to be equipped with two airbags unlike the Figo Blu, which gets 6 airbags.

The proposition is simple. Copy & Paste Figo Blue to aspire. Yes, along with that 7" touch screen too. No Sync 3, hence no Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. But definitely will cost some 30000 cheap.
Please Ford, kindly provide Sync 3 as an accessory at least

Ford has launched a new special edition for the Aspire compact sedan, badged the Aspire Blu. The new variant, priced at Rs 7.41 lakh for the petrol and Rs 8.21 lakh for the diesel, costs about Rs 15,000 more than the respective Aspire Titanium variant, on which the Aspire Blu is based.... Talking about the Aspire Blu’s equipment levels, kit such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth and navigation, auto climate control, reverse camera, key-less entry and go and power adjust and folding wing mirrors are standard. Unlike the 6.5-inch infotainment system that gets Ford’s SYNC 3 exclusive to the top-spec Aspire Titanium+ trim, this 7.0-inch unit misses out on Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. On the safety front, the Aspire Blu comes with dual front airbags and ABS as standard. Under the hood, the Aspire Blue can be had with either the 96hp, 1.2-litre petrol or the 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both units are offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
