Re: "A Tale" of similar tail-lamps

Another chit chat thread!!! In a forum where once there were threads about car builds, carputers and other interesting threads, now has threads about similar tail-lamps, head-lamps, steering wheels. Is Team BHP losing its charm?

Re: "A Tale" of similar tail-lamps

Rather we can say manufacturers observing the customers taste on the back of a car that’s churning sales numbers and following the same trend or following similar design elements to attract or draw similarities while shortlisting the choices

Even the latest gen Swift and Polo share the same tail light design.

Just realised that the Audi A4 and Alfa Romeo Giulia have similiar taillights!

Sir, the copied elements could be one, two or even more and the car models need not appear the same. In case of MS, at least I believe that many of their cars ( not all) appear to take strong inspiration from other companies. I agree that gypsy is novel, but Swift for example has always had this side profile uncannily similar to mini cooper.

Re: "A Tale" of similar tail-lamps

Wow! I never noticed these details. I mean some tail lights like those of the City and Ciaz have clear resemblance to one another, but now that I see there are too many cars sharing the same design. Its time for some innovation!

Another One!

The 2007 Honda CR-V and the new 2019 Maruti WagonR have very similar rear profiles!

Re: "A Tale" of similar tail-lamps

Two cars which are scheduled to launch early next year have eerily similiar rear profiles even though they belong to completely different segments. These are the Kia Grand Carnival and Citroen C5 Aircross

Needless to say, the design does look very smart

Cheers!

Seriously !
Looking at some of the pics posted, I am just not able to figure out where did the OP's find the similarities - is it in the red color lights or the whites in between ?
