Maruti to roll out new car between Alto & WagonR in 2020

India's largest car maker is all set to roll out a New car that will slot between Alto and WagonR.

Though the entry level segment shows a drop in sales ( Alto segment) Maruti Suzuki is confident of the revival in rural consumption which is expected to boost demand for such a vehicle.

The car will set a new benchmark for entry-level products in the country - in terms of both size and price, meeting all regulations in safety and emissions.

It is amazing how many successful small cars Maruti has added in the recent past to its portfolio. They all continue to sell well by Industry standards. I believe they have a car (Atleast a variant) every INR 10K from 3L to 15L. Thats a huge base and it shows in the sales chart.

After the jellybean Zen, none of their small cars have had appealing design, be it the A-Star, Celerio or the new Alto. Why not re-launch the Zen brand, Maruti ?

This new car is pretty much going to be the Concept SUV they show cased in the auto-expo isnt it.

That car is going to fight directly with the Kwid(for those seeking SUVish looks) while Alto continues to do what it does best !!
