The first gen Amaze was a pretty good looking car in its segment, especially with its proportional body and good looking rear profile. The new gen definitely looks smarter, and boasts of better interiors. Eagerly looking forward to this one!

The sub 4m sedans finally start to look good! The Figo aspire is the best looker as on date, I think the new Amaze will be in that league as well! Even Suzuki surprised us all by the having the new Dzire as a pleasant looker!
Now the only odd looking car in this segment is the Ameo! The xcent is sort of ok too.

Did Honda test this car in India or anywhere else in the world? How come they escape from all media?

Honda cars are normally not tested here, most probably at their Japanese R&D facility.

Looks like the R-Design variant of the Volvo XC90.

Wow, the car does look good from the side view. I do see a bit of current 3 series (shrunken F30) in the flat side view!!

Doesn't seem to be road tested anywhere - no international spyshots either! Same case with most earlier launches too - I don't remember seeing spyshots of any of their budgets cars below the Civic, especially in India.

Now that the 2nd gen Amaze is to be launched shortly would we expect to see the 2nd gen BR-V as well within a year possibly.

The BR-V is a practical vehicle and more importantly has that gem of an engine 1.5 iVtec to which no other 1.5/1.6 petrol engines come close

I like the design of new Amaze. Looks far superior than its predecessor. The interior quality also seem to have improved significantly. Thumbs up to Honda for providing automatic transmission option in both petrol and diesel varients.

I see a car that have the potential to challenge MS Dzire in India. I hope Honda prices the new Amaze as a VFM package.
