Today, I took my Storme for some running repairs in a Tata ASS. The kia dealership is owned by the same people here in Lucknow. I saw a Seltos Auto that came for some high security number plate fitment as the availabilty of the guy was not there in Kia ASS. It was a Diesel AT HTK+. There was an AUTO badging on side fender. Also was Bharat6 at the boot. So, I think there is different scenarios in different cities. I also saw the stockyard of kia that had as many as 15 new vehicles parked for delivery. This looks like a doctored image. Third column consists of Safety, which was removed and altered as capabilities. The language itself shows that, it's Fake, or the bottom portion is copied from International website, since it shows miles per gallon and heated seats. Surprising!! Fake images in Auto sector too. Comes down to the mileage and maintenance costs in my opinion. A turbo petrol and turbo diesel might have pretty similar maintenance costs over the long term and the mileage may have a 50% diff (~10kmpl vs ~15kmpl). Because of this mileage difference, even the resale value might be different in parts of India. | |

My other concern is that the DCT will be high maintenance over the torque converter. Also, there is a mileage difference since we know that Hyundai engines are notorious in mileage and might land up with a single digit mileage for a 70 km daily run | |
