This is actually a bargain when compared to the previous dated and unreliable Discovery, priced at an eye watering 1.3 Crores.

This is actually pretty competitive pricing when compared to the likes of the X5, GLS and Q7.

And when you throw in the looks and the off road capability into the mix, it almost appears a no-contest.

The only potential fly in the ointment is the reliability. If that is sorted, then this one will be a killer!

Oh, and did I mention the looks!!

I don't see this model selling as much as The Velar which is much more aspirational. The discovery and Velar are priced nearly at par internationally hence it's safe to guess that the Velar too will be around the 70 lakh mark once announced next month.

IF the Velar is priced at 70L, and IF it proves to be reliable, I just may be able to pick a used one a couple of years down the line, given the abysmal resale value of Rangies!!

The prices seem really good for what you get. HSE gets everything you need.

These rates are inclusive of 28+15% tax so let's not be too excited about the prices because our dear GST committee has given the green signal to increase the compensation cess to 25% from 15% which means an increase of 10% on all "big" cars unless the manufacturers decide to absorb some of the impact.

The price reduction announced post- GST are only a direct benefit of the lower duty. It does not reflect the lower input input costs which are substantial. Further reduction of prices should have been possible considering the same.

So let's hope Land Rover doesnt increase the prices too much

Re: Land Rover Discovery Sport Facelift to be launched in India soon

I couldn’t find any other relevant thread than this one to post this satisfying muscle flexing video of big SUV’s, rather mammoths!

Discovery is leagues ahead of any other big bad SUV’s with its muscle power
