VW Noida has 3 GTI's in stock, 2 in white and 1 in red.The red one has done around 500kms so has a further discount of 2.5 lacs on the on road price whereas the white ones have a none too shabby discount of 1.5.This one is a taker at 20 Lacs on road according to me.

That's not a marketing gimmick: it is a lie.

If they said exclusive 99 only then dishonesty begins at 100. Maybe they tweaked the software so that it only comes to 99 when actually counting.

Really, this is ridiculous. If they actually wanted to make it a real limited edition, then all the motor trade needs is one lousy stick-on stripe or a different seat colour or something. Easy. Motor trade does this stuff all the time. Why fake it?

That must be for unregistered demo/ media cars. These cars are heavily abused and best avoided. A BHPian I know who is taking delivery before this year end, is getting it for an additional discount of about 2 lakhs compared to earlier ex showroom price of 19.99L.

True. Heard the same from a couple of Bangalore guys as well. This is the price that should have been announced at launch.

The Polo GTi is available at an ex-showroom price of 16 lac in Pune.

Took a long test-drive of the car, and found it to be exactly how I'd imagined it'd be - explosive.

That's the perfect adjective with which one can describe the car - the power just doesn't stop.

On the Mumbai-Pune expressway, the car reached unmentionable speeds with ease.

For an enthusiast with a budget that is limited to 20 lacs, I'd say this is THE machine to pick up.

However, if one's budget is flexible then there are much better options out there - not to mention the Octavia 1.8 TSI which in my opinion is a better buy.

However, if one's primary driving is going to be in the city I feel that the GT TSI is more than enough - and the GTi's suspension is also not very comfortable over bumps and rough roads.

The Polo GTi is meant for the highways - where the 20 big ones would seem worth it.

Just got reply from VW Noida. They have it on order only. 24.04 lac on road NOIDA registration. No stock available at dealer and denied any discount.

VW showroom on Sohna Road , gurgaon has a white one in stock and the agent offered 2 lakhs off on the exshowroom price .
I am sure the MG road dealership in Gurgaon can offer more as they have couple of cars parked in their stockyard .

Guys! A friend was today offered a 2017 GTI, Delhi Registration for 13 lacs. Pre owned.
The owner wants to buy a Skoda octavia RS, now.

The car has done about 3500 kms. Worth it? Considering that he will be the second owner.
