re: The 2017 Ford EcoSport Facelift caught testing in India. EDIT: Now launched at Rs 7.31 lakhs

ICN review is out - I'm impressed with their presentation and camera work. And they have thankfully reviewed the diesel variant!

The review is mostly in Hindi though:

I see; I did not know this. Thank you for correcting me, and my apologies for posting misleading information.

The All-New Ford EcoSport can be booked online exclusively on Amazon, on 5th November. Interesting!

The dragon series supposedly increase the mileage by some 7% I guess compared to outgoing 4cyl one. If that compensates the loss in torque converter vs DCT we might end up having same Mileage. It can end up better or worse. Might need to wait for ownership reviews to get correct picture.

Boot space shows 352L for Titanium and 328L for Titanium+ variants. Less leg room in Titanium?

I guess that's due to the new Cargo management system where you can make it almost flat using an additional flat board

Must be a mistake. The brochure lists the boot space as 352l (expandable up to 1178l) for all variants / trims.

EDIT: It is indeed different as pointed out by Chetan_Rao and hemant.kamat.

Actually not. Notice the small superscript 5 next to boot capacity?

Point 5 below the table says the listed 352L capacity is for Titanium and Trend+ only.

I don't think they would have played with the leg room. It could be because of the leather seats taking up more space on behind the seats, which eats up into the cargo space.

Thanks for clarifying!
The Trend+ trim looked extremely well Specced.
Shame, it is not available on the Petrol MT.

Here in Siliguri, the folks at Gateway Ford say that official bookings have not yet begun. I've booked the 1.5L Petrol Titanium+ AT unofficially. Apparently, they've received about fifteen bookings so far, none for the AT variants.
