Why is 1 % TCS (Tax collected at source) collected for T+ variants?

I am sure there will be price cut/ discounts after a few months, especially on petrol automatic once there will be similar offerings from Brezza and Nexon.

Considering the space for kids at the rear and the price difference narrowing, I am more inclined towards Creta Petrol AT now. Anyway, kudos to Ford for giving a fully loaded automatic.

Ex-showroom price is above 10 lakhs. Hence, 1 percent TCS is charged.

Following is the revised pricing shared by Kavish Ford, Mumbai

Looks like Ford has increased price of 3rd year Warranty with RSA by INR 2,500. Earlier it was about INR 10,000 now upto INR 12,500. Would request someone from Mumbai to confirm RTO and 3rd Warranty price they may receive from other dealers

Titanium+ AT on the road price increases by a good 33k.

Anyone aware of any production constraints or is this the market response? If so it's absolutely shocking.

Ford has exported 24,708 units last month. So, production was not a constraint. Looks like exports took precedence in December.

Make sure android auto is installed on your phone (or apple carplay on ios), then open Google maps on your phone and start the navigation on google maps. Then connect your phone to Sync3 via your usb cable. Automatically android auto / apple carplay will be turned on, both on your phone and on the sync3 system.

Download Android Auto or Apple Car Play on your mobile. Then all you need is to connect your phone using USB cable in the USB port. Ensure that Android Auto is set as on in your car infortainment too. In the cars touch screen you will see navigation, music and phone as options.

If you noticed the sales figures in November was too high though there wasn't that many actual deliveries. Many December sales was counted as part of November sales as most shipment happened during the fag end of November. Also, scheduled plant maintenance do happen during December and that could be a reason too. Understanding Indian customer sentiments, the delay could also be to push deliveries to new year. Also, billing at higher price in Jan could yield good profits to the company. Not many would cancel the booking due to the price hike especially when they have booked and waited for a while. If my guess is right, you would see a good sales figure in Jan.

As of now the market response is positive and should reflect in a decent 4500 - 5000 unit sales for the next few months.

A general update. Have come for a small long trip to Solan, shimla. The car behaved very well on the highway and hills alike in D mode. Overtaking has not been an issue at all. D mode is pretty capable. Overall fuel efficiency that I got is 17.5 kmpl I am very very impressed with it. Here's an eye candy.

Guys I've few questions while comparing this price list with the Mumbai region price list for Trend+ AT model:

Mumbai:

1. Ford preferred insurance: 32172 + 9000 (Zero Dep)
2. Essential Kit (Mud flap, Floor mat, Trunk mat): 6000
3. Optional 3rd Year Warranty: 12524

Navi Mumbai:

1. Ford preferred insurance: 39007 + 9209 (Zero Dep)
2. Essential Kit (Mud flap, Floor mat, Trunk mat): 6000
3. Optional 3rd Year Warranty: 10024

Bangalore:

1. Ford preferred insurance: 33xxx + 5425 (Zero Dep)
2. Essential Kit (Mud flap, Floor mat, Trunk mat): 3350
3. Optional 3rd Year Warranty: 15466

There is such a vast difference for these 3 items which are supposed to be independent of the states/region. No?

The Insurance amount between Navi Mumbai and Mumbai is different. The Dealer i'm following says there must be some coverages that the other dealer is not offering hence cheaper. Need to match it.

The Essential kit for those 3 items charging 6k in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai compared to bangalore 3.5k! 50% less than in Mumbai! That's complete fleecing by the dealers here.

3rd Year Extended Warranty cost - Shouldn't be the same across regions like Mumbai & Navi Mumbai? Why are different rates even across States?

Rudrah - From where did you get the price for Extended warranty in Bangalore. The images posted by others previously is 16366/-, while you seem to have got a quote of 15466/-.

Do note that in the images posted for Karnataka dealers, the Extended warranty says for 3rd & 4th year. Before the hike i believe it was 11k odd and was only for the 3rd year

Insurance - you are better off getting it from outside, rather than paying more to the dealer
