Brezza has 2, so I guess WRV also has 2, so that's a tally; still, nothing beats Ecosport & Ecoboost except for the price.

Spotted at the Dahisar Check Naka, Mumbai. Was stuck in traffic so spoke to the guy. It seems there are 16 vehicles out to go to the showrooms across Mumbai today. Car looks good on road overall! He said it would be hidden but tomorrow onwards they'd be showcasing it. Not sure how much of this is true but it's what he told me

Honda is going to fight in two segments with only one vehicle.
i20 Active, Cross Polo, Etios cross, Fiat Avventura with WR-V Petrol.
Brezza, Ecosport with WR-V Diesel.
Ignoring the NVH, i-Dtech is capable of competing with DDiS & TDCi. There are good chances for ecosport loosing the numbers to WR-V than Brezza as the later is Maruti.
Yes, Honda really forces the customer to pay premium for Sunroof & Start/Stop button :-(

So, sunroof is a very smartly played trump card by Honda IMO, they are very well aware of the fact that Indians love when their wife and kid peek out of sunroof. Hence Honda gave this super duper mega dega feature in a segment where this 'very premium' feature was previously unseen (Forget old gen i10, those were different days).

I personally know people who went gaga over the auto closing mirrors, sunglass holder, steering mounted controls and rear Ac vents - and then bought i20. Now, they will 'upgrade' to WR-V and get a sunroof in exchange for rear Ac vents

Sunroof can be had as a aftermarket but not Safety features. I've seen many Tata Sierra owners doing it some 2 decades back.

Coming to the pricing - Couple of days back, I met a Sales Executive. As per his knowledge, only 2 Variants will be launched - S & Vx. And the Vx Petrol may Cost around ₹11 lakhs OTR, Bangalore, which translates to ₹9.2 lakhs, ex-showroom.

And Vx Diesel will be approx. ₹13 lakhs, OTR, Bangalore. So, it might be ₹11 lakhs, ex-showroom.

Also, got a Call from Honda Call centre yesterday, as I'd left my Phone No. He informed that the WRV, will be launched @11:30 am on 16th March, 2017.
