Isn't that the Sumo Grande? And against Endeavour?

Hexa looks good in the 15L plus segment, so they can probably look at upgrading the Safari brand to compete against Endeavour. They are already designing the cars as we speak, with JLR inputs.

So most probably Tata is testing these vehicles for Australian market. Because the Ranger for bench-marking is a Australian specific version. And few years back Xenon Tuff concept was unveiled in Australia which is similar to this facelift.

Xenon has been spied numerous times while testing and we manage to capture the very production version that is set for launch within the next week. The Xenon has everything it takes to enter the pick up market. A market which is steadily growing thanks to entry of Isuzu and nemesis entering the same space with the newly launch Imperio

The new 2.2-litre Varicor 400 diesel engine will refreshed and seen on various vehicles such as the Safari Storme as well as on the upcoming Hexa, produces 156 PS and 400 Nm of torque. Gearbox could be a new 5-speed manual transmission with this pickup. Meanwhile 4WD would be available as an option as well

Why the rear windshield on this single cab is different from the double cab?

Is this bullet proofed?

Tata Xenon Yodha launched at Rs. 6.05 lakh

Tata Motors has launched the Xenon Yodha pick-up in India. The Xenon Yodha is a facelift of the outgoing model and is available in 4x2 as well as 4x4 variants, and in single & double cab layouts. The single cab BSIII variant is priced at Rs. 6.05 lakh, while the single cab BSIV model is priced at Rs. 6.19 lakh.

The Xenon Yodha is powered by a 3.0-litre engine which develops 72 BHP and 223 Nm in the BSIII tune and 85 BHP and 250 Nm in the BSIV guise. The facelifted Xenon has a rated payload capacity of up to 1,250 kg. It rolls on 16-inch radial tyres, while the suspension has been updated with 5-leaves at the front & 9-leaves at the rear. It also gets anti-roll bars for enhanced on-road and off-road stability. The Xenon Yodha has a ground clearance of 210 mm.

Tata claims that the Xenon Yodha is built using a unique 3-layered body construction that minimizes cabin intrusion in case of a crash. Other safety related features include crumple zones, a collapsible steering column, retractable seatbelts and side intrusion beams.

The Xenon Yodha is equipped with an LFL propeller shaft which does not require greasing. The service interval of the pick-up has also been increased to 20,000 km. The new Xenon is further offered with a customized AMC package of 3 years / 1 lakh km (whichever is earlier) and a warranty of 3 years or 3,00,000 km (whichever is earlier).

Re: Spotted! Tata Xenon Facelift. EDIT: Launched as the Xenon Yodha

Has anyone tried the Crewcab 4x4?
Any idea on its pricing.

I am looking for a workhorse to replace a Thar CRDe 4x4.
