Thanks for sharing. Good find.

The Under runs look very similar to TGA, which are imported from Thailand. But I'm not sure of their quality.

The advertisement mentions that the under runs are not painted. Getting them painted would cost around 8-9K.

All in all, they would cost around 18 K. I'm paying 44 K in TGA

The front grill guard is a new accessory and will be coming in tomorrow. I will take a call after seeing it in flesh.
Guys,

Checked out the front grill guard this evening. I had requested the accessory guys to position the grill on the Fortuner inside the showroom.

With the front grill guard

I feel the Pearl White Fortuner will look better with the black grill guard.

The negative side of this instalation is that it requires 9 holes to be drilled on the front bumper.

On the positive side, the front grill guard will be securely fixed to the vehicle instead of many other such cosmetic installations that are done with just 3M double sided tapes.

New prices have been updated at Toyota website. I can see changes in Innova but not on Fortuner

this should look good and also give little more protection

MAS, if you are looking for an opinion, I don't find any nudge/bumpers looking good on any SUV, save for the big bumper in Mercedes G-Wagen.

But, to each, its own.

You are right Sheel.

Had a hard look on how the Fortuner looks with and without the Front Guard. I will cancel the Front & Rear Under runs.

Congrats MAS for your new fortuner, pearl white is good colour, I think New Fortuner is looking good without front guard or any other chrome cosmetic upgrades in my personal opinion except side cladding and door visors. Looking forward to see your review.

Have not driven it much so can't comment much about it.
But the initial impressions are good.

Nope not selling it. Will get peanuts for it because it's done 2,18,000 km. Will keep it till 3,00,000 km.

You are one true Toyota loyalist. I know you own an Innova and now this new Fortuner, which is the third Toyota?

Thank you!
The Final OTR was around 37.5 Lakhs for MH47(Goregaon-Dahisar RTO). I got the insurance done from them itself or could have saved Rs. 40,000 there. Didn't go for any accessories except floor mats which costed Rs.5500.

The third one is my first Toyota, a pre-owned 2000 Qualis FS which I bought in April 2009. I and dad both learn't to drive in it. The car was not in it's best condition but we had great fun in it. Sold it in February 2010 and upgraded to the Innova.

We have come a long way in these 2 years eh?

Lol, Sorry MAS, I had planned on suprising everyone right from my extended family, friends even my driver didn't know of it till the last minute(The expressions on his face after seeing his car was priceless!)

I had booked the car in November itself a week after launch. To my suprise the car was shipped to my dealer within 3 days of booking the vehicle. Luckily since it was a manual 4x4 I was able to hold it till end of December when I made the final payment.

Yes that and we are group of 7-8 Fortuners who go trail driving to different locations in the monsoon.

Congrats Denzil and I really liked to see the legacy of 5545 going on. I believe it is not a special RTO number so it did not bring too much of a premium with it, or did it?

I am sure you will be able to throw it at uneven roads without much care other than the SUV excursions. However, I doubt how much of a family mover it is going to be. Nothing beats Innova in that respect, I believe, as well as throwing Innova around corners, having driven both in decent measurable amounts. I guess you will either keep the old workhorse doing its duty or replace it with new one.

Happy miles munching with it just like Innova.
