splash would come with a petrol and a diesel option -thats all the news we have.
mods can we change the title now-splash is not a replacement for wagon -r ,so can it be something like splash -can it be placed between wagon -r and swift.

The Instrument Panel is something like the Mini Cooper, looks impressive. MSIL have another winner.

See it on the UK site, the interiors are quite Swiftish with a touch of agression targetted at the youths.

MSIL is surely gonna maintain market leadership.

The Diesel splash will be more powerful than swift VDI because of the power to weight ratio.I think Splash will be fun to drive.Green cotton filter+petes tuning box weeehhhh.

I hope they bring diesel version along with petrol. Because Hyundai is planning for i10 Diesel , splash in that way can easy eat away into i10's market.
I somehow feel i10 petrol itself is priced on higher side. Splash will surely do well if MSIL price it cheaper than i10.

Even if its not priced lower, it will do well. Its surely a different quantity from what we have seen of Suzuki's (and even Hyundai) in that category so far.

To me this one is unchallenged because i10 was more of an answer to the Estilo, rather than the splash being an answer to the i10.

Hyundai probably has to find an i15 from somewhere.

All the best Splash.

From what i saw at the expo, there is not much space inside. Infact, it looked more or less similar to i10 in terms of space.
I guess this would be positioned in between WR and Swift, price wise.

I agree with DCEite totally, I feel that pricing wise, it would be head to head with the i10. WR would still compete with the Santro as it is now. Where does that leave the Estilo?

There's another thread here on which says that the Cervo might be launched in india, but no confirmation or timeline on it yet.

It'll leave the Estilo where it belongs. In the rubbish bin!

MUL really did a stinker with the Zen brand name and have completely put it 6 feet under with the Estilo version.

Yes

@elfhelm, I know there is a new topic. Actually someone put up a photograph thinking that it was of Splash, but it wasnt. So just to tell that this is Cervo I had put up that reply.

Estilo is not a great car, but it is a really good city car. But out of Estilo and Splash, I think that the new Splash should come out as a brand new Zen without any useless tags.
