re: 2016 Suzuki S-Cross facelift leaked. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 8.49 lakh

I thought only the Indian market is a sucker for chrome! Happy to know there are more!

I just L-O-V-E that blue shade. I really hope they bring this color to India as well. Overall, I think this (facelift) is more of a love affair than hate. I don't mind this much chrome coz I can spend some time doing photoshop and black out the unwanted bits. This grill if done tastefully, might look good with the application of the wrap. But yes, the weird angle is not giving us a proper view of the entire front.

This is what you call a 'facelift', in the truest and most literal sense of the word.

They have taken that soggy, sulky front end and pulled it off the ground in the hope to get a smile from it, but the little bugger displays his shiny new braces in contempt instead.

I can't tell what it looks like in the flesh, but on paper, it isn't visually appealing. Let's hope they retain the 1.6, for what it's worth.

The front looks marginally better than the current model but the back and side profile are still a mess. At the end of the day it still looks like a hatchback, and ends up in no mans land like the existing model. I don't see this setting the sales charts on fire.

The current S Cross looks more like a overgrown Swift for me. My personal opinion of course. I don't see any distinctive look of S Cross, like that of Creta/Ecosport.

The facelift is welcome. I wish they had launched with this look instead of the current one.

Just made the whole thing looks a bit tighter; not a bad facelift IMO, except for that grille – wonder why Suzuki cannot have a brand identity / face of its own. You see a new Suzuki and are immediately reminded of a Range Rover Evoque or a Jeep!

re: 2016 Suzuki S-Cross facelift leaked. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 8.49 lakh

it seems that the engine is caged/ put behind bars.

Barring the 1.6L Diesel the engines already are anemic & performance adequate, plus any FTD petrol is also missing.

However, the headlights redesign seems acceptable, I would definitely go for aftermarket grill for this car.

Woah dheepak10, thank you for sharing that here.

When this iteration hits Indian roads and if priced aggressively, this can become the 'Most Sort' after car in its segment, hands down.

That DDiS 320 is so good that the current S-Cross outer appearance just does not gel well. This facelift will give this Crossover the perfect stance I guess.

It is so difficult for Suzuki to bring out a good looking car.

The older one looked a bit better.

The grill looks antique. Reminds me of the early Hyundais we had :

I think the first Santro also had a similar grill Minus chrome.

I don't mind the new grill at all. I think it looks way better than the current front bumper design. The current bumper design reminds me of Ritz. But why Maruti have hade to copy Hyndai for the grill? What Hyundai car is that?

Nevertheless, in spite of the copy, the new design looks much better than the current design.

That was one of the older versions of the Hyundai Sonata. (Just before the Sonata Embera, if I am not wrong)

And of course looks are subject to personal preferences. Never meant to offend anyone.

Atleast now with the new design, you have the option of doing something with it inexpensively. A little slap of 3M Glossy black or Carbon Fiber black would do wonders. Probably not quite the same effect, but much closer now.
Add a 1.6 badge where the vRS sits and you will have a sweet looking front end IMHO.

The grill adds some character to the car and now it looks the way it has been marketed by Maruti ! Go anywhere and have fun !

A li'l birdie tells me that the person who designed the S-Cross Facelift's grille is the same dude responsible for the Zen Classic

Seriously, how did this facelift ever get signed off? If I was in the market for an S-Cross, I'd buy the current version ASAP.
