If someone is listening out there, Civet, Tiago and Adore are all third-rate names compared to Zica which itself didn't sound great. This is like sending fire tenders to douse fire and those tenders are on fire themselves.

I sincerely hope Tata Motors releases a second set of names for which we can vote.

Tiago sounds like a LCV vehicle - Piaggio, Maxximo, Gio etc,

Adore is in the line of Amaze.

Civet is better of this three.

1. Adore : What kind of name is this!! In that case why not something like "Gujiri". Tata Gujiri sounds more apt than Tata "Adore".
2. Tiago This is a very cliche name for a car (Punto,Vento,Figo and add to that list Tiago)
3. Promptly voted for Civet. For me this name at least represents harmony with nature which we are destroying in and out.

I think any name will have some negative in some language somewhere. So as long as it does not have an obviously negative meaning (which means one does not have to google and do some research to come up with a negative meaning), Tata should be ok. In any case most of our car names are weird-Like a Duster or a Creta.

Personally feel they should have stuck with a 4 letter word. Matches well with Tata (Bolt, Zest, Nano,Aria, Kite, Sway).

Or as someone suggested on FB and reported here in the first page, they should just call it 'Nut' Since they have a 'Bolt'

Well, using law of elimination used back in school for MCQ's, I went ahead and voted for Tiago.

Clivet came out like glivet which did remind me of a particular single malt (mods, please delete this part if against forum rules)

Adore - lesser the said the better in my opinion.

Can't convince myself for any of these.
'Adore' is the least horrible of the lot. :(

But still - it's not 'THE' one.
Kite was best.
Zica was ok too.
But these ... are disasters.
Making the car less desirable day by day.
