What's so ancient about it? Looks like a sharkfin antenna.

It looks like an antenna which needs to be pulled out like ancient / cheap after market type. I got better one in my Baleno

I am not sure if its the angle of photo or the car itself, it looks classy. The only sore point in design is the Alloys.

Unless this is the final iteration of the antenna, it somehow looks weird to me!!

The test mules had a lovely black colour and the super alloys. Looks like both are missing. I hope they recover the last scene of anti climax by launching with a good price.

The stub of the antenna is like a wifi router. That will be removed for transport and fitted back during PDI.

UK Brochure (https://prod-suzuki.azureedge.net/me...o_brochure.pdf) says 0-100 KMPH in 11.4 Seconds. Is it not a bit on the slower side for a 110 BHP - 950 KGs car? The India spec Baleno RS is 10 BHP-20 Nm lesser, which means it'll be even slower to the ton.

IIRC, the old Baleno, with 94 BHP, slightly lower torque and 200 KGs more had a sub 11 seconds time to the ton. Of course, that car has fantastic gearing. Still, expected the Baleno RS to be quicker.

HI guys!

All this hype is fine but the turbo lag is my biggest concern!! I HATE TURBOLAG. It is SOO annoying! thats why i hate 1.3 diesels of maruti!
This new trend of small engines bigger displacement is all good but nothing beats a large engine with genuine power. 1.5L etios...1.2L i10..1.6TDi..2.0tdi..old baleno 1.6L..xuv 2.2L etc

anyway, lets wait and watch!

It's an old car with a new engine. Why are they talking about the exteriors of the cars now? Some cringe worthy show in the launch right now.

Get to the engine and price soon; after all there is going to be only one variant.

Priced at 8.69 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. Introductory Price of course

1.4L over 1.2 N.A. Alpha and 42K less than VW Polo. Pure B.S. IMHO. Will any day go for the Polo even with the concerns about the DSG at the back of my mind.

It has ESC, Hill hold and of course the 7 speed auto as well for 42K extra.

Haha. You spoke my heart buddy. Why are they showing exteriors? Only decent change is all 4 disc brakes.

Wish I could fast forward and get to the pricing part

Edit : Launched at 8.69L...Just 40k cheaper than the GT TSI.
