Completely agree with Shankar. My wife gifted me the Yeti in May 2011. We have driven the Yeti from Kanyakumari in TN to Kalpa in HP in all kinds of terrain and weather conditions in the last eight months, and the car has performed extraordinarily. Have driven from Gurgaon to Chennai thrice in the same time, without any issue whatsoever.
The sad news is that our Yeti got submerged in the recent Chennai floods mor than the dash board level and hence has to be written off. My wife and I did shed tears on being told that the vehicle cannot be repaired. Yeti has the best of many cars/vehicles above its segment and only those who have driven it will truly understand and appreciate its value. Most probably we will replace with another Yeti...

We do strongly feel that an automatic version will help to improve the sales of Yeti in India. Also read somewhere about a 7 seater Yeti...
