The brochure does confirm music streaming via Bluetooth. I guess this should bring some cheer for the ICE folks. Now to find out if mp3 folder navigation is easier and if they have put in better speakers. I highly doubt on the speakers.

Observations from the launch:

- Abarth Punto does 0-100 kph dash in 8.8 secs with a top speed of 190 kmph, while Abarth Avventura does the same dash in 9.9 secs. First cars in segment to do 0-100 below 10 seconds.

- Abarth Punto's 1.4L engine puts out 145 HP & 212 Nm of torque, while Abarth Avventura's 1.4L engine puts out 140 HP & 210 Nm of torque.

- Abarth Avventura gets the "Powered by Abarth" badging on the rear door.

- Abarth Avventura is certified at 17.1 kmpl, against the 16.3 kmpl certification for the Abarth Punto (ARAI).

- Bluetooth music streaming is finally available on the Abarth twins.

- Abarth twins to be manufactured in India. First Abarth cars which get certified as "Made in India".

- White & Black are the two shades for the Abarth Punto, while the color choices are White & Red for the Abarth Avventura.

- Cars are being shipped to dealers. Deliveries to start soon.

Prices Out: 9.95 Ex Showroom Delhi for Both Punto and Avventura Abarth. Was hoping for something closer to the 9.5L Ex Showroom at the max

Would take it above 10L Ex-Showroom in Bangalore, which means higher taxes and would take it to approximately ~12.5 L OTR Bangalore. Looks like a niche product will become even more Niche for folks in Bangalore/Karnataka. A full ~2L more than the GT TSI.

A little disappointed. I wish they considered the fact that in states like Karnataka a >10L Ex-Showroom would shoot up the OTR price. An Ex-Showroom lower by ~20K at least would have ensured the Ex-Showroom would remain under 10L in almost all places.

Unless it is a uniform Ex-Showroom like Maruti did with the S-Cross (specific variants I think)

Fiat Punto Evo priced at 9.95L ex-showroom Delhi. Priced decently I must say. It is absolutely Value for money if you consider the power, handling and safety, not to forget exclusivity.

Or atleast keep the prices within 9.99L everywhere, because many states have a higher tax structure if the figure touches 10L ex-showroom.

I feel the pricing is a bit on the higher side. 2.6L above 1.4 FIRE Emotion and 2.24L above 1.3 90HP diesel. The Linea Emotion T-Jet is ~18 grand cheaper.

Avventura seems to be a better deal with just 1.29L over 1.3 90HP diesel.

Is the suspension and engine tuning worth the premium? Reviews will tell
