The Sigma in fact looks better and pretty close to being acceptable.
Is the tab design for Sigma is different than that of Zeta which obviously is different than Alpha?

The tab in Sigma is looking much better than than of Zeta that was posted in one of the previous post some pages back.

Thank you Volkman! Yeaaaa!! White looks smashing! The Black roof can be painted by myself too!

And Surprisingly Sigma looks a lot pleasing to eyes. I don't know whether that's because i always prefer all black cabin or i don't like that dual color white upholstery.
But the tab like console here doesn't look that bad in the all black cabin, now Sigma variant makes a lot more sense with all the safety features. Better opt for this and customize as per taste and preference.

Re: The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis

Does the Indian Ignis get the sliding rear seats as shown in the review videos from abroad? That sounds like a really useful feature for a small hatchback.

I haven't seen any mention of it in any of the media reporting so far.

No it doesn't. Rear seats are fixed and get 60:40 split thats it.

No offence, if that is the case, then MSIL has done more than best to influence people other than millennials. But why not a Baleno?

I would say the original inspiration for the Ignis is the Suzuki Whizzkid. Right down to those stripes.

Finally the Media test drive of Ignis , reports to trickle in today.

The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis-capture.jpg

While we are dissecting the exterior design of Ignis, Suzuki had revealed earlier the design of Ignis is inspired from a lot of its existing/previous models.

Re: The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis

A notch back rear along the design lines of WhizzKid would've been immensely practical and looked swell too!

Not to nit pick but as far as I remember, Suzuki Ignis was a hatchback iteration of Maruti Esteem sold here. There was a big article in Autocar India long time back although it never came to India.
