Can you please add Ritz also to the table so that we get a fair amount of comparative study? It's in a way replacing the Ritz plus there might be many people switching over to an Ignis from a Ritz.

Re: The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis

If i were Maruti i would offer AMT across models, if limited models they should have the top end and one but lower model covered without fail. That would be the target audience who would be looking for automatic transmission. Rest of the accessories if they can bring in as a dealer option, nothing like it.

Re: The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis

Having reviewed the SHVS Variant earlier, now AE reviews the standard Ignis (1,2 Dualjet).

The funky new Suzuki Ignis stands out in the city car class with its crossover style.

The Suzuki Ignis is a real breath of fresh air in the city car class, offering desirable crossover-style looks and a distinctive character that sets it apart from rivals. Love or hate the exterior, you have to accept that there’s little else at this price with so much personality.

The Ignis also sticks to Suzuki’s usual traits of offering tonnes of equipment for not an awful lot of money, and despite the dinky dimensions it’s actually very versatile and spacious. It’s light, and feels agile and nippy around town, but the market’s best small cars are both more comfortable and more composed to drive.

Re: The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis

It looks like the international version has reflectors/lights on the the rear black cladding, something not there on the Indian version.

Re: The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis

Spotted an Ignis couple of days back near where I stay. Its the same model that's going on sale next month in India. Sported a SHVS logo on the rear bottom right. There were no other variant logos anywhere in the rear.

I've not seen Kwid much. But Ignis visibly looks shorter in length compared to the Swift.

The specs also confirm it. The Ignis is 3700 mm long (source) vs Swift's 3850 mm (source)

Re: The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis

The BLACK stock alloy wheels (15 inch) on the Ignis looks great.

So, looks like an easy swap for Baleno Sigma/Delta owners

Re: The Maruti-Suzuki Ignis

Seems like another super hit from the MS stable. Kwid is gonna face the heat if MS gets the pricing right.
