I doubt a 1.8TFSi engine will do well on the A6 given that the 523i launched by BMW in the past failed. I think Audi is just keeping itself prepared incase the trend of switching from diesel to petrol hits even the luxury segment. In that case the 1.8TFSi could outsell the base diesel.

Since there are no A pillars, how do seat belts work in this car? Or is there only lap belts? I was watching the ACI review of the A3 when I noticed that the guy driving wasn't wearing any seat belt or atleast none that was visible.

I used to wonder the same when I see convertibles/cabriolets From the image given in the brochure, I presume the seatbelts are incorporated into a compartment within the body framework at more/less the same position where usually B pillars are situated. Sometimes they are integrated into the seats themselves.

Re: Audi launches the A3 Cabriolet at 44.75 Lakhs

So, I drove this car last week. What a rush. The guy who brought it for the test drive kept urging me to go faster and enthusiastically showed me the sports mode .

Unfortunately was on public roads. So the spin had to be short. Need to figure out how to get this car on a private track.

PS: seat belt is where the b pillar should be. Only lower.
