Mercedes-Benz India has inaugurated a 'Centre of Excellence' at its Chakan plant, near Pune. It features a helipad and guided manufacturing plant tour, the latest range of Mercedes-Benz specialty cars on display, customization options for cars and off-roading track experience.

The centre of Excellence was inaugurated by Matthias Lührs, Chairman of the Board of Management, Mercedes-Benz India and Vice-President -Global Sales seen here with Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India Limited.

This is a first in country, and this means Merc is taking our market seriously( gives hope towards some long-awaited launches and good sales volumes for Merc). Gives immense pleasure to see this, and may this inspire other luxury brands too!
