The Ford Everest concept has been revealed to preview Ford’s new seven-seater SUV that’s related on the Ranger and expected to go on sale in 2015.

Alan Mulally made a surprise appearance at the event attended by more than 800 people and was the first of four big hitters who flew to Australia to shed some light on the future of the brand months after announcing it would cease local vehicle production in October 2016.

By all probabilities might mostly be the new Endeavour which will later hit the Indian shores.

This is a better looking Ford Endeavor and they should bring it on-board at the earliest. Ford has done a good move with the Ecosport and should try and remain in the limelight of effective pricing. Toyota - be cautious!

Somehow I feel lights are copied from Fortuner and Front Grille from Ford Ecosport. Might be just my feeling.

It does look eerily similar to Fortuner, doesn't it. But full marks to Ford designers that despite the design similarities, this looks way smarter than Toyota offering.

Now, only if they could get the pricing right...

Looks Pretty good for Fortuner replacement. Resembles the 201* dodge durango for me which is a really good looking SUV.

2015 would be too late for an SUV which is almost 10years old on Indian roads without much changes in its appearance, right?

By the time it comes to market, almost every manufacturer would have launched 3-4 suvs in their portfolio, and this suv isn't going to help ford which just has one mini suv so far.

It reminds me BlackBerry 10.

Looks more like Highlander to me.

But frankly too many elements from various know designs. Doesn't inspire much IMO.

Butch looking beast! Ford has shied away from bringing its best SUVs to India. The current Endeavor looks like a dinosaur compared to the new one. Please Ford - bring this to India as the next Endy!

So on thing that is keeping me thinking is how come there is no rear-mounted wheel.
Should we be taking this as trend to come with future SUV.

I wonder how will Indian market react to this, as we have always associated rear-mounted wheel with SUV. This has been happening to an extent that all it needs to make a normal vehicle a mini SUV is to mount a wheel to the rear in India.

It would be interested to watch on the reaction of "No wheel".
