I dont think this will replace the endeavour. The design might be same, but the Everest revelealed here would sadly not make it IMHO. It is too big to be priced with fortuner and for the features it offers, there is no way, ford would price it even at 32 lacs to compete with Santa Fe.

Looks butch, nice and clean. But you can see a lot of Ecosport in her face. Good for family identity! If Ford can manage to price it sensibly like the Ecosport, I don't see why it can't outsell the Toyota Fortuner. It may not look as butch but the interior definitely nails it. A perfect upgrade for XUV500 owners, who prefer a butch SUV with quality interiors and a big size (Santa Fe, butch?). I'll be the first one to replace our 2011 Verna with this.

P.S. Just showed this to my neighbour, who owns a Toyota Fortuner and is completely sold on this one by looks alone and wants to know when it's launching in India. I hope that's enough to persuade Ford to bring it here, build it here!

Nice looking car. Ford cars have never been unreliable, but somehow the Endy never got going. The 20 lakh SUV market is a tricky one to crack, especially when equal-priced sedans are a few levels better. Hope this succeeds for Ford.

BTW, doesn't that front grill remind me of the new 2016 Innova being spotted on our roads?

Please give us this very Everest as the all-new Endeavour, Ford.

Albeit, this exact make and model may not really be the Endeavour replacement, but if Ford decided otherwise, this could well be a game-changer for the Americans. The Ecosport is doing great in its category, Ford can only better its stance by pitching this against the Fortuner. It's handsome, butch, comes loaded and is priced right. A very serious competitor, that doesn't yet exist for Toyota.

Win for Ford.

Looks good. Very good. Is well featured and will I think come in about 1L below the for tuner. Will be a better product than the current Fortuner by a mile but still won't sell in big numbers due to the Toyota reliability factor that ford as a brand does not have.

If priced 5L below the fortuner even if only as introductory booking price though this could take it on.

It is worth more than the Fortuner but then Toyota's have always been priced a lot higher in India.

This does have practicability which the current Endeavor misses out on.

The articles referenced suggest the pricing in Australia is likely to be close to A$60000, that's around 32Lacs. It will be brilliant if they can get it below/around the Fortuner especially this beast is loaded to the brim with features not seen in the Indian market as yet.
