Hopefully Ford learns from their success stories of Figo & Ecosports and gets them out with a competitive price with a high localization content. Would be interesting to see the engine options this SUV comes along.

Looks like a big brother of ecosport from front. To me nothing beats the second Endeavour which was launched in India. There is no SUV till date which come closer to if we talk about the butch looks it offered. Only my personal views.

The fortuner has far more road presence.

Old endy looks like a rectangular tin can. Fortuner has far greater road presence but is super costly. Hope Ford launches the everest in india and.prices it competitively. There is another car Ford Territory in Australia. Wonder why it isnt sold here in India?

Damm. Really loved the Fortuner for its butch macho looks. This Ecosport Fortuner hybrid doesn't go too well with me.

Looks good. Big with the road presence one would want with a car/SUV in that bracket. Should be a good alternative to the Fortuner.

I think this looks quintessentially Ford! The stance that the front headlights take draw inspiration from their other cars like the Mustang and I believe it scores on road presence without looking too overdone; which is how the Fortuner in its current avatar seems to me, or too agricultural which is how the old Endy looked like to me

Oh and doesn't anyone else think the Isuzu MU-7 looks far more commanding than the Fortuner (a little chintzy, sure)? The first time I saw it was in my rearview mirror while I was stuck in traffic on a downslope, and it looked really menacing.

Hope they get the pricing right. If they just price it a tad below the Fortuner I am sure they will have a lot of serious buyers. Yours truly could be one of them. Isuzu MU-7 definitely looks menacing in flesh but I am not sure how the janta is reacting to a brand which has not yet proved in India with its sales and after sales etc...

Seems like one more maximum vehicle, minimum human vehicle design. The rear window area looks claustrophobic, like the swift and the Ecosport. Hyundai learnt the market and has achieved its current position. The i10 grand rear window has been deliberately kept big to make appear more spacious, nevertheless the bonnet area versus the cabin space.
The design is done, and its a diesel, so it will sell in good numbers

I feel it has a tamed down look like a normal SUV, the big / butch look is gone. Eventhough it looked like a tin can design its like an evergreen design (1st model), you wont get bored with over a period of time. The new one looks like a big brother of Ecosport.

IMO this could be for the unveiling of new Endeavour, though it could also be for launch of new Figo &/ or 2014 Fiesta Classic.
