Re: Team-BHP renders the 2014 Suzuki Alto/A-Star

Not sure whether this has been posted earlier, hence posting the same here. As per IAB Celerio Test Drive cars have started reaching dealerships in various cities. They have managed a spy pic of one such demo car. Here is it:

Some clear shots from the Overdrive report of their Celerio First Drive.

Re: Team-BHP renders the 2014 Suzuki Alto/A-Star

The Celerio will compete head on with the i10 1.1, and might be a tad expensive than the Hyundai counterpart. Given Maruti's track record and higher fuel efficincy, they may be able to price it around 25k ex-showroom over the i10. Expect discounts on the i10 1.1 to continue.

The front is inspring and looks like an evolution of the original Zen in a beefier avatar. The rear is preety bland. The dash is very Eonish which is good.

Black door handles and mirrors, no wheel caps, no fog lamps on the VXi is bad.

Just found this on ET. Must say very competitively priced, if this is true. Wondering why the top variant does not have AMT. What happens if a prospective buyer wants ABS, Airbags and the AMT which is the USP of this car. Beats me
