The Avventura looks truly stunning. I only hope it has got the 'Go' to match the 'Show'. Wonder when we could get to spy the interiors?

Some close shots of the Avventura. Abarth-based alloys, rugged stance. Fiat's answer to the EcoSport?

Fiat also launched its Abarth brand in India, starting with the Fiat 500 Abarth. The car will come with even more aggressive styling and will be imported initially. However, there are plans to localise the Fiat 500 Abarth in future.

Hi,

Avventura looks more like Polo Cross than anything fresh and original. Also like a modified Punto (which is the most beautiful hatch, IMO)

Any news on the new/facelifted/Evo version of Punto in the Auto Expo?

Cheers.

The Avventura is already having the Evo spec interiors which is not a bad thing to start with. Pricing will be the key for any sort of success in terms of sales for the Avventura.

The Linea facelift with the change to the interiors and oodles of chrome on exteriors, the engine and drive train remains the same. Abarth brand launched, and 500 coming in instead of the Punto Abarth.

This is how the spare wheel section swings and then you open the boot normally. A two-step process which will be cumbersome for those who open the boot often. Also one needs sufficient clearance at the back as well as above for both the sections (spare wheel & boot-lid) to open - Highly impractical in congested areas.

The swinging spare wheel is form over function. Congested areas and parking places will ensure its a tough exercise opening and closing the boot.

The front disc size looks like the Tjet size 285 mm ones and the rear too has disc brakes. The 17 inchers will be quite impractical to our roads and the ride quality might suffer due to this if the same size is launched.

More activity has happened today on Fiat than in the past year (almost).

Here's the new ad on Youtube. I am glad to see the T-jet badge at the back.

Waiting for the confirmation on engine for Avventura, and then I might change my signature.

The Avventura would pass off as a tasteful mod but there is nothing else. Can't hold a candle to the original Adventure.

Man, it would be a horror in parking lots at malls. And, not to mention, at my office parking lot, where I would have to get down each time to open the boot for checking.

The front lights and bonnet area are definitely different from our Punto. So not just a slap-wheel-at-the-back job so far. Awaiting technical specs of the Avventura and the Abarth!

So will we see the facelifted Punto also looking the same way? In the pic, guess I can see rear disc brakes as well.

Even this car without the spare wheel would have made a good package. Rear tyre is NOT looking good on a car with a low roofline. I like the interiors as well too. Better than current Punto's.
