There were only 3 new Figo's present. Blue and Yellow were not present.
The headlight switches are still same as old one's. Given the blue dash/blue seat fabric i think back lit illumination in dash/console is going to be blue as well.Its red in old figo.

The Figo face lift doesn't look all that bad, you just need to get used to the looks.

True! But they could have used this opportunity better. Personally I like the understated matured looks of the old fella. The blackened head lamps had its own charm.

Btw... what do you think this stalk could be? for MID? And where are the steering mounted audio controls?

The steering mounted audio controls are not true steering mounts.They are present close headlamp stalks behind steering wheel. The stalk marked by you are the actual audio controls. These are pretty similar to one you see in Duster.

Ah! Just too many things to do with the left hand. Change gears, indicate, flash, switch tracks, control AC etc. Not many will find it convenient to use.

On the duster its on the RHS I guess!

Ford India has just sent out invites for an event on the 15th of October, 2012, just before the Indian festive season kicks in with full vigour. The logic behind not taking one's eyes off, while operating the headlamp and wiper stalks could have been the convincing factor for Ford I suppose! But this positioning is definitely less useful than a 'steering mounted' audio control though. I just hope it doesn't rub against the knees of very tall drivers

Call it coincidence, but the new Maruti Alto 800 (which is already having an image of sharing the same face with the figo) is also launching on the same date.

OT: Looks like all car manufacturers are trying to capitalize as much as possible from the sacred days of 'navratra' since 16th October also marks the starting of the nine days which are considered sacred among potential car buyers.

This is anyway expected. I am guessing that the price increase will be in the range of 10-30k. Let us wait for few more days.

The brochure of the face-lifted Figo is out & Auto-gadget have posted the same on their website (which they have referred to as lifted from Quarter Mile magazine). Link to the article:

As per the brochure there are 6 changes in the updated Figo, viz-
- new head lamps;
- new steering mounted audio controls;
- new tail lamps;
- new alloy wheels;
- new front bumpers; &
- new seat fabric design.
