me too...i hate that ad...not that the car isn't good, but that ad is sick

I used to love the CBZEE ad. Never seen a better ad for a car/mobike in India.

Back to the topic, the best Car ad is the Old Honda City VTEC ad. They had the camera behind the car which is driving through mountains and a voice in the back ground says "Gem of an Engine" and the car moves to an opening which has a beautiful valley, and the person continues "Jewel of a car". Oofff, what an ad.

Also recollect seeing an ad in Readers Digest somewhere in the early 90's which had a picture of a beautiful road with flowers and a dream house, and it read "A Hero Honda just passed by". Now thats imagination. Of late HH ads have been really silly.
I dont like the Aveo ad, as I think they are trying to sell the wrong point. The cars looks should really be highlighted, as the car has a good on road presence. Didnt like the Getz ads either.

For me the Old Honda City ad was the killer one.

My Best ads :- Safari , TVS Apache , pulsar add with the wheelie and stopiee , 800 (the small sardar is cute and the add makes sense) , ford ikon the josh machine , innova with aamir khan, tata 4*4 the rocky one( it brings a smile on my face).

Worst ads :- Aveo tops the list for me too, followed by fiesta just bcoz i dont understand wat r they trying 2 convey in the ad the fiesta train sucks.

2. Indigo Marina - Tried to squeeze a whole love movie in a ad.
3. Indica Xeta - Low budget car, low budget ad.

The new Tata Safari ad - i did not get head nor tail about it ! but have to admit the Safari looks hot in red !

The New Wagon-R ad - Sheeezzzzzzzzz .....just like the makeover.

I must agree with you, many a time I wonder whether its the car ad or an ads of the females. No offense to females please ok.!!!!

I believe an Ad should be something that shows qualities of the car than using non-relevant methods of showing qualities and linking it to some dame or person.!!

You know my BIL hates the tata Safari and earlier they used to show these ads for the Dicor I think... where the car goes thru some seriously rough terrain...

And he would always remark that they show the car Jumping on the way up but never landing on the ground, because everytime, something must be falling off the car. So he used to go around telling everyone they used 3 different safari's for each jump shot

the worst ad has to be the aveo and the tata pik up truck"rocky se panga nahin lena"....wrc and inrc watchout...here comes the tata pik up truck...geez...

i guess the best ad for me hast to be the pulsar 180 dtsi. the classic pulsar is being ridden on a bridge when a pulsar 180dtsi overtakes it,does a wheelie and then a stoppie.had to be the best ad...clearly indicating the products purpose.
