When are they planning to launch VW Tiguan in India ? Any idea if the launch is slated in this autoexpo ?

Wow! The Fiat Avventura looks like it's based on some disco-theme. Too brash, too aggressive and too orange. I like it but won't buy it.

I am a Fiat admirer and love'em to the core for the kind of understated style their cars have. Even if I were a kid in my early teens I'd think twice before stepping in and driving around it that car. Still assured that it will find many takers if priced and launched (early) sensibly though.

Refer to the Tiagun thread. Confirms for India, but no date yet. Indications are a late 2015 /early 2016 launch.

Why have the guys at Fiat ignored the Jeep brand?
When there are concepts shown which will go into production as late as 2017, it is strange that there is no sign of Jeep brand at the Auto Expo!

The new variant of Duster named Adventure. It has blackened headlamps along with a bull bar with integrated fog lamps and plastic cladding as well as gunmetal grey alloys. The graphic on the D pillar reminds me of the Safari Storme Explorer edition

Truly disappointed Hyundai. On one hand you give us the Verna's and Santa Fe's and on the other this hideous looking car. The addition of a boot on the Grand i10 looks very shoddy. It reminded me of the erstwhile Swift Dzire but come to think of it the 'Xcent' surpasses it in ugliness IMO.

Moreover, I did not like the name as well 'Xcent'. come on Hyundai either you should have named it Accent or gone for a completely new name.

Tiguan or Taigun?
The Tiguan is overpriced even for the US market. So I don't see that coming to India. Taigun is set for a 2015/16 launch I suppose.

The CBR 360 F will be assembled in India and price below Rs. 7 lakh. Expected launch 2015.

The i8 will go on sale in India by Dec, 2014.

the biggest disappointment for me are 2014 jeep grand Cherokee and the wrangler.I was desperately waiting for these two to show up in expo.
I am eagerly waiting now for jeep grand Cherokee to show up in Indian market.

Folks who are privy to things in the Auto Expo - Did Fiat India announce an Abarth for Indian market?

I was looking at the Fiat India website and I saw this graphic on the front page…. Can someone clarify or shed more light on this?
