If you are considering one, try to get one in March itself, especially from Nippon Toyota, they have been pestering me with calls on discounts for the Hyryder and to buy before the price hike. I had enquired about the Hyryder back in December for a friend and now cant get rid of them.

Here is the promotion poster.

Cash discounts ranging from Rs 30,000 (Mild Hybrid) to Rs.80,000 (Full Hybrid)

Exchange Bonus: Rs.30,000 (if the exchanged car is not a Toyota) to Rs.50,000 (If the exchanged car is a Toyota)

Some Dealerships strictly follow the discount policy of Toyota while others who have more inventory to liquidate are allowing flat cash discounts of around Rs.1,10,000 to Rs.2,00,000 as well.

Do check with your nearby dealerships and get the best offer!

Thanks a lot for these inputs. Very helpful indeed. I am not sure which dealer they are dealing with. But I will let them know these numbers so they can negotiate as well.

Don't know what they're smoking or maybe its a masterstroke They have now announced a price hike of 3% as well. So what is this? A price cut from 19th to 31st March to clear inventory? Coz from 1st april or a week later they'll increase the price and we are back to square one.

Ask for more discount. You can easily get 1 lakh off as that's what is offered by Mahindra elsewhere

₹22.22 is the not the lowest ex-showroom price for AX7L MT in past 1 year. Mahindra had ₹1 lakh discount on MY24 AX7 which are all sold by now. If you are getting MY25 car, then this is a good deal from my perspective.

Below are prices of AX7L D MT since 2 lakh sale target was achieved
Aug 2024 : ₹22.49 lakh
Nov 2024 : ₹22.79 lakh
Jan 2025 : ₹22.97 lakh
Post Jan 2025 Republic Day : ₹21.97 lakh after ₹1 lakh discount for MY24 only
Mar 2025 : ₹22.22 lakh after ₹75k discount (not sure of manufacturing year)

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

Hello everyone.

Looking for information about any offers/leads on Jeep Meridian. I am dealing with Landmark Jeep in Noida, and they are bottoming out on 38.73 lakhs for Limited Optional and 41 lakhs for Overland 4x2.

This being a slow moving model, I was hopeful for greater discounts, but the initial conversation with the SA was not too encouraging.

Any leads pan India will be appreciated!

I am assuming you are buying a 2025 model, then in that case, the discount seems fair, discounts available are up to Rs.2,60,000 on the Meridian MY 2025 and maximum up to Rs.3,90,000 on MY 2024 Models.

If you provide me with a detailed quote, I could help you sort out whether insurance is expensive, but looking at the discount, it seems insurance is overpriced. You could get insurance elsewhere and save at least 30 to 40k off the premium, too.

Thank you for your quick response. Here it is -

For Limited (O) -
Ex - 3479000
TCS - 34790
Registration (personal, Noida RTO) - 350000
Fastag - 800
Challan Defend Service - 6000
Handling Charges - 41300
Insurance - 162376
Total - 40474266
Discounts - 213000 (Handling Charges, Insurance Margin of 60000, Offer worth 30000, Corporate benefits worth 20000, Dealer Margin of 50000)
Landing Cost - 3872966

For Overland 4x2 -
Ex - 367900
TCS - 36790
Registration (personal, Noida RTO) - 370000
Fastag - 800
Challan Defend Service - 6000
Handling Charges - 41300
Insurance - 169871
Total - 4303761
Discounts - 213000 (Handling Charges, Insurance Margin of 60000, Offer worth 30000, Corporate benefits worth 20000, Dealer Margin of 50000)
Landing Cost - 4102461

I see the following anomalies for Overland itself (values will be greater for Limited) -
- A full blown insurance from Tata AIG with everything under the sun (return to invoice, tyre protections etc.) costs 70000 instead of 1.1 lakhs after discount quoted by the dealer.
- For Noida, the registration charge is 9% of the vehicle value (for vehicles over 20 lakhs ex showroom). For Overland, this will be around 3.31 lakhs instead of 3.7 lakhs quoted by the dealer.
- Handling charges are anyways illegal across India, so them adding the charges and then removing them as a discount doesn't count.
- Challan defend service and all wouldn't be required since both of us in the family are in active legal practice.

In my view, following is a realistic quote for Overland -
Ex - 3679000
TCS - 36790
Road Tax - 331000 (9%)
Fastag - 600
Insurance - 70000
Total - 4117500 without any discounts.

If I discount this with your quoted rates, it should be in the ballpark of 38.5 lakhs for MY25 and 37.6 lakhs for MY24 stock.

I have written back to the SA with these calculations this morning after getting to know the realistic discount expectations, thanks to your timely response.

Will keep the forum posted on this if I go ahead with Meridian and the final landing cost in such case.

Thank you for taking the time to read through this long post.

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

I have a question re Maruti Ciaz (MY25) - Delta MT. I spoke with three dealers in NCR and the discounts for year-end were very limited (like 30K or so on a car with ex-showroom of 10lac, on road approx 11.2). There is no offer of free extended warranty or any accessories either. At the same time the dealers said Maruti will hike prices from April 1st. The final on road after some negotiations is still 10.7 lac. Is this a reasonable price.

The second question is re a Honda Elevate V-MT (R) model. I got a dealer to quote me 13.85 Lac OTR (12.71 lac ex showroom price) for a vehicle that would have cost me 14.98 without any discounts same time last year. This includes -

Honda Assure Insurance
7 year extended warranty
Road side Assistance 4 years
Apex edition kit

Again, Honda will hike prices tomorrow. So, is this a good deal?

Any insights would be great.

Insurance is way overpriced, better to get it done yourself from outside, handling charges should be removed, who needs a challan defend service? Discounts are a minimum of Rs.. 2,30,000 on MY 2025 Stock and most dealerships offer the same. get the maximum possible discounts and compare with other dealers as well. Hope you get a good deal!

The Ciaz has hardly any offers, maximum discount is in range of 40k to 50k, depending onthe dealership, so yours seems to be a fair deal, but be aware that Insurance is grossly overpriced and you can save quite a substantial amount if you get insurance yourself, if you quote the breakup, I can help you further. Moreover, a point to note, Ciaz production has ceased and it will be phased out next month, so there won't be any price hike for Ciaz.

The Elevate discount offers are exactly as per the Honda official website and is a fair deal with offers as per the official website and discounts given by dealerships. Honda will surely hike prices in April, so if you are planning on getting an Elevate, you should act fast.

Re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

I was considering buying the Honda Amaze 2nd Gen due to some attractive offers, but it seems unavailable in Pune. My friend managed to get one for ₹10.53 lakh on-road, including basic accessories, in early March. When I contacted Honda dealerships, they were recommending the next-generation model instead. Since this would be my second car, I feel ₹10.53 lakh for the VX CVT is a good deal. Has anyone recently purchased the Honda Amaze 2nd Gen VX CVT? If yes, at what price?
