Kia Seltos older models are available with a discount of ₹1.25L without any bargaining. This applies to HTK and HTX petrol/diesel models. The HTK Petrol at ₹13.5L is a hard-to-ignore deal. Is it worth considering older models with this discount?

The old Nexon is available with a discount of ₹25-40K. The sales advisor mentioned that there is still interest in the old Nexon.

The MG Hector is available with further discounts on top of the reduced price. I checked for the Shine CVT Petrol and it was available with a total discount of ₹75K.

The Hyundai Alcazar diesel is available with a discount of ₹30-50K depending on your bargaining power.

Not exactly a discount per se, but the Grand Vitara and Hyundai Creta older models are available with outside insurance and no accessory purchase. Both have a waiting period of only 2-3 weeks.

I remember when I was looking at Creta last Jan, the dealership was not even keen to offer a test drive of the 1.4T version, saying that it is a 8 month waiting, you make the booking and let us know that you are ok with 8 months, THEN we will arrange for a test drive.

Except for few models, most of the cars are available with some or more discounts now which is a good news for buyers. Also mostly all cars available with very few having long waiting periods. Some cars are readily available too.

Whoever is buying a new car now, bargain hard and you will get some good discounts. Check all cars, models and negotiate them with each other. Happy days are back again, almost.

Hyundai dealers are offering 20k discount on Creta 1.5NA (checked for S+) and 30K discount for 1.5 Turbo on in stock models.

Hyundai Exter introductory offer ends; prices hiked by Rs 16,000

Back in July, Hyundai launched the Exter at an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The carmaker has now increased the prices of the sub-4 meter crossover by up to Rs 16,000.



The Hyundai Exter is available in five variants. While the prices of the base EX MT and SX (O) Connect AMT remain unchanged, all other variants have gotten expensive. The top-spec SX (O) Connect AMT Dual Tone gets a nominal hike of Rs 5,000, while the SX (O) Connect MT Dual Tone receives the highest price revision of Rs 16,000. Prices of all other variants have gone up by Rs 10,400.

Powering the Hyundai Exter is a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 83 BHP and 114 Nm when running on petrol. With CNG, the power drops to 69 BHP and 95.2 Nm. The petrol version of the SUV comes with the choice of either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT, while the CNG variant gets the manual transmission as standard.

Read somewhere VW/Skoda added a couple of "features" to the Taigun/Kushaq and Virtus/Slavia twins but raised prices ahead of the festive season. Seem's to be a modus operandi.. raised prices then throw some piddly discounts and call them "Festive offers"

Some rather low coverage - few smaller news outlets saying features added are footwell lighting and electrically operated seats.

Sri City auto Namakkal, tamilnadu. Booked Sigma varient and got written offer for 10k on seat cover and oral offer for 15k on accessories. There is also 5k cash discount due to festival season.

This is what I was offered in Chandigarh/ Mohali but given the 100 year anniversary celebration, there might be scope to squeeze in further. ZS is carrying discounts of 2 lakh+ and some Hector models are doing upto 1.30lakhs.
