Maruti Suzuki car prices hiked by up to Rs. 22,500
Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of most of its models with immediate effect. The prices are being hiked due to a rise in input costs.
The carmaker has stated that the weighted average price increase in ex-showroom prices (Delhi) across models is 1.6%. This translates to a hike of up to Rs. 22,500 depending on model and variant. The prices of the Celerio and Swift haven't been increased.
In January, Maruti Suzuki had increased the prices of the Alto and S-Presso by Rs. 34,000.

Did you book a 2.4 Diesel or 2.7 Petrol ?
Mahindra seems to have increased the prices across its range effective today. There seems to be a 30K increase across XUV300 variants and similar hike is also seen for other models.
One of my friend was planning to book the XUV300 W8 Petrol within this week, the OTR was coming around 12lacs with the ex-showroom pricing of 9.99lacs. With the new pricing that he got from SA today, the ex-showroom has become 10.31lacs which increased the OTR price by 80K to 12.8lacs, thanks to the tax-bracket jump :Frustrati
Any cash discounts on VW Polo GT TSI and Skoda Rapid TSI AT?
Just asking coz I've heard that Skoda is offering the maintenance package of 30k, which is given FOC along with 1 year extended warranty, which is also FOC as well.
And, this will be the replacement for our 2014 Honda City iDTEC!

For GT TSI, check availability of stock for discount, there should be around 40k
For rapid, zero discounts on the rider variant, rest you can easily manage 40-50k cash discount on others alongwith service pack and other add on scheme discounts, do bargain hard on the insurance part.
My tip after seeing your city thread - take the best insurance possible with all add on covers.
Any latest updates on MG Hector or Hector Plus discounts?
Ford hikes prices of all models by up to Rs. 80,000
Ford has hiked the prices of all its models by Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 80,000 depending on the model and variant.
The prices of the Figo have been hiked by Rs. 18,000. The base price of the car is now Rs. 5.82 lakh. The price of the Freestyle has also gone up by Rs. 18,000, while the Aspire gets a nominal price hike of Rs. 3,000.
Except for the Titanium diesel variant, the prices of all the variants of the EcoSport have gone up by Rs. 20,000. The Endeavour has gotten dearer by Rs. 80,000.
Great. Instead of learning from Toyota the quality aspects of Fortuner, Ford seems to be learning the wrong lesson.
Great news. The very limited number of people who have dilemma in choosing between the Figo tdci and Altroz diesel will now happily go with the latter.
The vfm price tag was a great advantage to the Figo, which still is a flop sales wise. Ford really wants to kill it totally i guess.

Is this the third hike in 2021? There was a hike in Jan, another one starting April 1st. I doubt if Ford has hiked again in such a short span. In Mach, Ford clearly told prices will be hiked by upto 3% starting April 1st.

Whatever the hike, Ford seems to be confident (in general) of generating good sales, going by its 34% MoM growth in Mar'21:-

Hyundai has quietly increased the prices for all models by 15-20k.
