Nissan Introduces Virtual Showroom Visit And Online Booking Services, virtual product display and online loan application for all Datsun products as well as for the Nissan Kicks.

Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said, We are strengthening our commitment in line with our customer centric approach by bringing the showroom experience to customers' location through a Virtual Showroom with a digitally enabled car purchase journey. It allows our customers to experience and own our products with complete confidence, convenience and with zero physical contact.

The online service is applicable of the Nissan Kicks, the company has not confirmed the same for the GT-R yet.

Nissan Kicks is again one of those car launches that failed terribly in the initial days and as a thumb rule never picked up by subsequent sales, marketing efforts. Even plonking a powerful petrol will not help this dud. Nissan should be envisaging winding operations in the country rather than spending on going digital.

MG Motor India Introduces Shield+ Programme For Customers.

MG Motor India has launched the 'Shield+' program that is focused on serving customers in the post lockdown world while protecting its employees and the customers from the Coronavirus pandemic.



This includes enhanced sanitisation, doorstep delivery of services and contact-free technology. Under the contact-free technology, the company is offering a voice-guided demonstration of its vehicles. And specific feature explanation can be accessed by scanning of QR codes.



The carmaker has also initiated vehicle cabin fumigation with MGerm Clean in its vehicles under the 'Disinfect and Deliver' initiative.

Maruti Suzuki Chairman RC Bhargava said, The question of discounts depends on market conditions, I don’t think we will have a surplus of vehicles, at least for the next month or two. So, I don’t see any large requirement for big discounts because the demand will be higher than the supply. Going forward, we don’t know what the situation will be, and the adjustments will happen for discounts according to market situation that changes every month.

Kia dealerships will provide vehicle sanitization free of cost for limited time, on a first-come first-serve basis.
Kia has implemented a three-step hygiene and sanitization protocol across all its dealerships.
The brand has confirmed that free service under the protection policy has been extended by two months.

The first protocol is the Vehicle Hygiene programme.
Second protocol - Network Hygiene, which requires all dealerships and service centres across India.
Third protocol - Your Hygiene protocol, which promotes the use of the brand’s digital service facility with the Kia Link App, for scheduling date, time, pick-up/ drop-off location and making payment for the service.

FCA introduces financial schemes for Jeep customers called ‘Jeep for All’.

Customers can opt for a vehicle loan up to seven years. This loan will offer them a three-month low EMI repayment option. The buyer is free to choose any three months in the year to pay the lower EMI. This three-month low EMI arrangement will continue every year throughout the tenure of the loan.

I've worked on the BMW financial services packages, and most of them translate into a 51L total payment (10L down payment + loan re payment) in any scenario - whether conventional loan, bullet scheme for 7 years or balloon repayment for 5 years. The OTR price is approx 42.85L n Pune.

There are two leasing options on offer - wet lease and dry lease.The wet lease option covers the maintenance cost and offers a buyback at the market value, whereas the dry lease option will have the customer bear the maintenance cost and a pre-determined buyback value.
