Sorry to say but at 16.25L on road W8 is not possible. I was initally thinking to go with W6 as it was coming at around 15.2L on road but decided to go ahead with W8 for 17.3L on road. If you are able to stretch a bit more(considering tax % is less in Mumbai when compared to Hyd) you might be able to get W8.

Regards,
Rohit

Yes absolutely right, as I found out. 16.75 was not possible either even after 2 hours of negotiation with a check book in hand ready to write the full amount. 17 lacs was the lowest the dealer would go.
Unfortunately, 16 lacs is already an uncomfortable stretch for me.

So, I am back to looking at options. Duster AMT is suddenly looking good and I know my wife well be happy if I go that route. I really wish Team-bhp's official review of the Duster AMT was published. It would've certainly helped me decide.

re: The "NEW" Car Price Check Thread - Track Price Changes, Discounts, Offers & Deals

I have booked an Ertiga AT in Hyderabad end of January, and still no sign of when it will be delivered. I asked the dealership, and they said they have contacted Maruti multiple times and they haven't received any response on likely delivery date. Right now, I am without a car and seriously thinking of going for MT, which the dealership is promising in a week. Does anyone know of any way to contact Maruti Suzuki to get an idea of when the car will be dispatched?

I visited a Honda dealer nearby to check out the new Amaze. He informed that honda will increase prices by upto 30k for city and at least 8k on all cars and variants. Is this true? With this honda city sv is about 11.5L in Hyderabad!

Hey Friend,

Thanks a ton for the information.

Can you please provide further details such as name of the dealer and location. Ciaz is also one of the contenders for my upcoming purchase.

Cheers.

I think 100k off on Titanium is a great deal satnam141. Just make sure its not too old, should be Dec/Nov2015 max. e.g. taking car of Aug2015 make - I wont be comfortable with. And surely opt for extended warranty.

I got the following quotes for the Vento 1.6 petrol Highline model @ Bangalore

2015 model - On road price: Rs 11.20 lacs
2016 model - On road price: Rs 12.50 lacs

Why is the difference so big?

Stock clearance offer for 2015 model plus post budget hike for 2016 model is the reason I believe.

You're getting a good deal. I was in the same boat last month. Go for it. The OTR price includes extended warranty. Make sure you're getting it.

Cheers

@ sidwadia

AWD Dusters are not available ex stock in NCR . You could get a massive 2 lac discount if you're cool with getting a 2015 production model.

Try obscure dealerships for residual stocks.

The AWD Duster is way better than a 4x4 Scorpio IMHO
The short gearing on the AWD makes it faster than the standard RXZ too. The AWD system works like a charm !

Happy hunting

Don't know if I'm late but it may be of some help. Had purchased a 2015 Aspire trend diesel for my friend in mid february and managed to squeeze out 1.25L discount from them. Also it's been almost two months since we made the purchase, so you could definitely squeeze out that much if not more.
