With new swift prices getting out on 17th, It will be interesting to see how Honda will price Jazz this time. Am sure Jazz will maintain it's premium pricing, but based on recent experiences by Honda,it might place it competitively in the market.

I dont think the prices will be based on the new Swift's prices. As far as I understand the prices of the cars are decided way too early on and just get a 5-10% tweak by the launch time. Hope they realized a severe 1L discount on the old prices can fly customers into the showroom.

exactly what I want to say.. Even at 6 lakhs ex-showroom expected a 10% tweak will be a massive 60k.. In this segment it can mean between success and mediocre performance in the sales chart.

hey.. you should give us more pics with just a couple of days to go. Please make sure to watermark those as well.

Looks like the pics are of a lower variant without fog lamps? Or they intend to bring fog lamp'ed variant as another package / limited edition or so ? The color sucks though, IMO.

Can we really compare the Jazz and the Swift. Atleast in the current avtars, I think Jazz is much more spacious and premium than the swift. So, I would not be very harsh on Jazz even if it is priced higher than swift (purely based on current models).

Finally 2 more days to go. We have to now drop the name face lifted Jazz to All New Jazz. Honda in their Facebook page has released the alloy wheels.

There is no change in the Honda Siel website. If nothing else, at least a line to the effect that there are changes in the Jazz and watch this space. Its almost as if Honda is not too interested in creating a buzz for the Jazz. This in turn does not give me a great feeling about the price.I hope to be proved wrong on the 18th!!

Expect the price range to be between 5.99 - 7.5 L, ex-showroom, and 3 models on offer.

re: Honda slashes price on Jazz as well ? EDIT: Launch pics of new Jazz Pg.56

The top end i20 Asta costs 6.83 OTR in Mumbai. Keeping that as my benchmark for features offered, and adding in the extra premium/space of a Honda car I would be happy with a OTR price of 7.5 with all bells and Whistles. Thats an 70K premium which seems ok. However, An ex-showroom of 7.5 ( top end) would mean that the City EMT is cheaper, that too with a 1.5 engine as compared to a 1.2 engine.
With the Brio too having a 1.2 engine, would the Jazz be to the Brio what the Civic is to the City?
